Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of berries and fruit, and so is the flavor, though combined with light notes of alcohol and cocoa. The finish is dry. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. anders37 (26251) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 13, 2007
Bottle @ Akkurat, Stockholm. Pours a dark amber color wit an off-white head. Malty and slightly alcoholic aroma with some caramel hints. Sweet malyu slightly vinious caramel flavor. Has a slightly roasted malty and warming finish. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2007
(Bottle 35, 5 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Clear, warm, dark brown with a reddish hue and a small, beige head. Lightly sweetish aroma of malt and fruit. Medium body with fruity touches and lightly burned, chocolatey malt accents. Perhaps a little marzipan also. Rather discreet bitterness in the finish. 171107 madmitch76 (24431) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 29, 2011

Very dark brown beer. Palate slightly dry. Malt dominated - smooth with chocolate and coffee. After 4.5 years the hops have died back - just a little hop bitterness at the end. A tasty malty beer!
Dark brown color. A beer with a lot of caramel, quite a lot of dark chocolate too, some sweetness, and correct bitterness. Not bad, but a bit monodimensional.

12 oz. bottle, as part of the Jewbelation 8-pack, pours dark mahogany with tan head. Aroma of dried fruits (plum, dates), chocolate, oatmeal and nuts. The flavour reveals slightly sour, dark dried fruits, slight molasses, with lingering notes of plum and raisin. Silky, creamy texture, with little sweetness and not much complexity. Good, though leaves something to be desired. Ratman197 (14692) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 3, 2010

12 ounce bottle from the sampler, from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear but very, very dark reddish brown color. Brown creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of dark malts, chocolate, cherry-like fruits, nutty almost oatmeal-like nuts and faint citrus hops. The taste is chocolate, nuts, oatmeal, leafy bitter hop finish. Faint very dry fruity notes as well, almost like cranberries or pomegranate. Medium bodied. Decent beer.
