the brew has a pleasant beer aroma with the slight added wine like addition that surprisingly seems to add rather than (as i anticipated) detract from a good beer experience. the tastes are plum like but truly beer so this is somewhat like a decent tasting maibock or dubbel. so points in my book for being demonstrative. looks a bit like wine it is purpleish in the pour. a gimmick and an experience in one! soulful it is sweet in alcohol and caramel in yeast with some dried fruit. kidrobot (103) - Port Charlotte, New Jersey, USA - JUN 25, 2010
Not a fan, but cant wait to try more of their beers. Smells great, taste pour. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 24, 2010
Draft. Medium beige head atop clear dark amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, grape, some alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet, grape, some alcohol, caramel/raisin. Smooth medium body. CheersMate (1343) - Portland (Sellhood), Oregon, USA - JUN 21, 2010
22 oz. bottle from Mac’s on West Peachtree. I had this on tap at Taco Mac last night, but it wasn’t my draught, so I didn’t really get the taste for it. Anyways, Brown in color with a purple and ruby hue. The head faded away rather quickly. Smells like Smuckers grape jam/jelly. Lots of artificial grape in the aroma. This beer carries a sugary sweet aroma that is accompanied rather nicely by the yeast. Slight raisin aroma as well. Hell, now that is considered a fruit beer, instead of a Belgian Ale, things just got better! The grape aroma is quite pungent, even though it does seem a bit artificial. Grape is mixing well with the dough, yeast, and sugar flavors. A bit of the heat from the alcohol comes through. Slight bitterness comes after the aforementioned heat. Taste seems a bit too "juicy" to me. Overall, this has a lot of great things going for it e.g. the grape flavor, but it seems too artificial, as I have already mentioned about 100 times. I almost forgot to mention, this beer has a nice texture. PorterPounder (8185) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 20, 2010
Atlanta, Ga. - Hop City Craft Beer and Wine - 22 oz bomber. Medium purple colored pour, slight, off-white head. Fruity aroma, accented by dates, raisins and grapes. Flavor definitely has a heavy grape juice presence. Reminds me somewhat of communion wine with its heavy grape sweetness. Hints of brown baked bread and some dates break up the sugary grape sweetness. Overall, decent.

draft @ redlight redlight. Dark fruits on the nose, grapes, figs, with molasses and caramel malt aromas. Pours a reddish amber with a thick white head. Smooth caramel malt notes, dark fruits figs and dates with grape and molasses with a spicy finish. Pretty nice. DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - JUN 18, 2010
Orange-tinted red with half a finger of off-white lacing. Medium aromas of candied plum/prune. Off-white light lacing. Average-Plus carbonation. A well-balanced palate that is a bit sweet. The grapes are evident on the palate, as well as the candied plum and berry. I like this beer a lot more than I expected to. ketchepillar (1199) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - JUN 14, 2010
On tap at Pacific Standard. Very nice. Complex. Rather malty. Bready. Some grape, but really just comes as a non-distinct fruitiness. mrhoppy (1288) - Santa Clara, California, USA - JUN 13, 2010
I always anxiously wait for the Rejewvenator release every year. No noticeable grape flavors but maybe a slight dryness because of the grape. Aroma Belgium hefeweissen. Slight Belgium character and a more traditional doppelbock dominance. Always let the Rejewvenator beers warm up before you drink them. This one doesn’t have the sweetness that the other two have. Rather dry really. As always with the Rejewvenator an interesting experience.
