Bomber from BevMo Salinas. Nose is prunes, wheat with slight banana and cough syrup, and some light breadiness. Cloudy brown with a medium beige head. Flavor is molasses and grapes with a bit of light sweetness and a hint of bitterness.Flavors and aromas just don’t meld together well, lots of them there, but not nice to my senses. Bomber. Very deep amber in color. Spiced Belgian qualities. Pretty sweet with alot of dark fruit and some spices. Good yeasty nose too. Somewhat sweet up front. Tastes much like a dubbel. Spices and dark fruits. Some roasted maltiness as well. A hint of hop bitterness in the finish. I would consider this a to be a dubbel if I were to drink it blind. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 28, 2010
Bottle. Pours reddish brown with a beige head. The aroma has dark malty notes, fruity grapes, and light earthy notes. The flavor has some molasses like sweetness, grape juice, some lightly roasted malts, and a bit of bitterness in the finish. Solid. ben4321 (6504) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 28, 2010

Aroma: The nose is sweet and malty, some grape notes, as well as wood, earth, and booze
Appearance: It pours a brownish color with a slight reddish-purple hue, and almost no head
Flavor: The taste is mostly sweet, lots of grape, dark fruits, and a little earthy hop
Palate: The body is medium, well-rounded, slightly sticky, clean enough, minimal alcohol burn
I thought this stuff was pretty decent. It is mostly a sweet fruit beer, but it tastes pretty good. I wouldn’t rush out for this one or anything, but it was worth trying. Decent stuff that deserves it’s L’Chaim! -> To Life!
Bottle; poured an auburn type color with a fleeting khaki head. Aroma had alot going on; grape, sugar, bubblegum, fruit, caramel, dark fruit and probably alot more. Flavor had a strong grape tone to it. Sweet with alot of dark fruit elements. Pretty easy to drink. Full. Solid. lovemyipas (544) - nw burbs, Illinois, USA - DEC 13, 2010
pours a cloudy dark copper with a nice light tan creamy head. aroma of light grape juice, belgian yeast, and a little alcohol. this beer also has the dopplebock infusion with nice lacing. flavor is the same as aroma. it is different and good and I also like this version better than the fig and date. Another great beer from He’Brew. Rich dark malts, light Concord grape juice notes, molasses, slightly spicy actually. Molasses and raisin puree play nicely with the grape juice addition. Tootsie Rolls, caramel, and spice cake also show up along with what seems like a Belgian yeast note that keeps taking me back to Maudite.
Pours mahogany tinged black into a stem glass. Off-white head recedes to hug rim. Sweet chocolate and grape aromas. Sweet with upfront dark raisin turning dry in the lasting malted raisin finish. Dopplebock upfront and dubbel in the finish.... Strykzone (7356) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - NOV 21, 2010
Very dark with some red. almost stoutlike in appearance. Rich dark fruit in the aroma. The flavor is also defined by dark fruit. Grapes are evident, occasionally rich malts jump to the forefront. Very different, very rich. Not one for everyone.
