light brown color, off-white
aroma, definitely a nice touch of grape juice / red fruits, malty, Belgian yeast in the abbey style.
flavors, yeasty, grape, abbey style Belgian yeast, also get hints of caramel and chocolate. The whole blend of grape along with the abbey style is just perfect. I thought this was going to turn into a big sour grape fest, and everthing came out nicely balanced. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Tap at CK thanks to nmann08. Pours a clear orange to amber. Spotty lacing. Weak foam. Nose is tomato, oilive, mint, pimento, harbs, candies. Taste is mint, toffee, tobacco. Palate is decently malty, spicy. Weird stuff. blipp (9691) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 28, 2010
Bottle. Pours reddish brown with a beige head. The aroma has dark malty notes, fruity grapes, and light earthy notes. The flavor has some molasses like sweetness, grape juice, some lightly roasted malts, and a bit of bitterness in the finish. Solid. JoeMcPhee (9550) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 6, 2011
Deep amber pour. The aroma is very sweet and malty. Quite plummy and sweet with a lot of pale malt flavour. It actually doesn’t come across grapey or anything like that. A little peppery booziness across the back of the palate, but it’s still pretty drinkable. Soft palate with a light caramelly sweetness. A little bit of chewiness. The light Belgian yeast spiciness gives a kiss of slightly spiciness as well. All in all, a pretty tasty brew. drowland (9057) - Georgia, USA - JUL 1, 2010
7/1/10. Happy July. Bomber into a trappist glass. The pour is brown with reads and a couple millimeter off-white head that fades fast. The aroma is yeasty and Belgian with a hint of sour grape juice. The flavor is surprisingly lacking with dry Belgian, Belgian yeast, and a touch of sweet and sour grape at the very end. Not super impressed.

On tap at Datz Deli in Tampa and courtesy of thejohn. It pours clear deep copper with tan head. The aroma is roasty malts, caramel malts, figs, apples, spices, mild assorted fruity sweetness and yeasty spices. The taste is rich in flavor with roasted malts, sweet maltiness, some assorted yeasty and otherwise spiciness and then drying up in the finish with the help of a modest level of roasted malt astringency. Atlanta, Ga. - Hop City Craft Beer and Wine - 22 oz bomber. Medium purple colored pour, slight, off-white head. Fruity aroma, accented by dates, raisins and grapes. Flavor definitely has a heavy grape juice presence. Reminds me somewhat of communion wine with its heavy grape sweetness. Hints of brown baked bread and some dates break up the sugary grape sweetness. Overall, decent. FROTHINGSLOSH (8142) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 9, 2010
Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers 6 Pack Eatery this beer poured a dark orange-brown color with a large foamy beige head that lingered and produced great lacing. The aroma was sweet with notes of grape, cola, raisin, caramel and pine nuts. The flavor was tart and bitter with a fruity hop presence and notes of grape, raisin, caramel and nut. The finish was long, sweet and a bit hoppy Fairly full bodied. Very nice. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - SEP 12, 2010
22. Pours a murky dark amber with a scant and sloppy white head. Big tannic vinous nose. A little oaky almost. Caramel and brown sugar under that. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel, toast, nuts, brown sugar, wine grape skins, and a little oak on the mid palate. Longish vinous finish. TaktikMTL (7968) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 12, 2011
