Clear brown pour with slightly purple highlights and ring of light tan head. Figs and earthy sweetness, like molasses, and just a very slight hint of peat. Maybe some bubblegum/banana flavors hiding in there also. No alcohol burn or booziness. Fairly tasty, and i did enjoy it, but it was not as good as several other of their brews. Maybe with some age this will do better. Tmoney99 (14773) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 19, 2013
Bottle. Poured clear dark brown color with an average to large frothy tan head that lasted and produced excellent lacing. Moderate complex toasted dark fruit, malt and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy balanced dark bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer. ok..so I’ve had some of the hebrew beers before, and they were just plain old not good. Some how this brewery has manged to pump out this gem! Full bodied, hoppy, perfectly balanced. Wow! I never would have thought they could make a brew this good! Perfect balance of malt and hops, nice body throughout, and a delicious finish!. I’m blown away! Nice sized creamy and dense malted milkball colored head of fine bubbles. Rich malty aroma with some milk chocolate, fruit and some yeast notes. Color is a deep crimson brown. Flavor is loaded with plums and raisins, dark roasted grains, sweet malts and some spices. Pretty dubbel-ish like in flavor and body. Finishes dry and a bit pasty with a lingering maltiness and a hint of tartness from the fruit. A decent offering from HeBrew! patricks110 (2522) - Alberta, CANADA - JUL 8, 2013
A nice fruity doppel/dubbel with figs, dates and a general sweet dried fruity flavour. Toasted toffee malts with big brown sugary sweetness. Not as fruity as the aroma with a mild fruit flavour. Warmth of the finish with a typical Belgian dubbel flavour throughout.

Bottle share. Ruby. Aroma of dates, molasses, and other malty joy. Taste is similar, with earthy notes. Chewy. OmegaX (1375) - Florida, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Bomber ----> Snifter. Nose is big time dates, light molasses, fruity dates, belgian yeast, candy. Pour is dark brown, almost black. Flavor is lightly fruity, molasses, spicy yeast, semi-sweet. Not too bad. Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - JUN 30, 2013
22oz bomber shared by OmegaX. The pour was a very clean and deep brownish-purple with excellent head retention. The smell was all dates, figs and toffee. It tasted great with a full-on lager smoothness with light hops and sweet malts. The finish was subtle fig and yeast for a nice balance. Pretty good stuff overall. 22oz bomber pours with a clear deep ruby red body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma is full and pulsing with dates, brown sugar, figs and a bit of caramel malts. Another pull brings up more figs and lagery yeasty and lightly fruity esteriness. The taste is similar as it is full of robust levels of dates flowing into some figs and prunes and browns sugar and caramel malts. There’s hops in this? I guess. There are lots of pleasing flavors mingling around together creating plenty of interest as well as balance. Cool beans.
