Draught (Cambridge Blue, Cambridge) as "Hecks Portwine Medium Sweet" at 6.5%
Misty orange, no head. Beautifully fruity aroma, some lovely sharpness as well as the rich sweet fruitiness. Taste is dangerous, according to Anna, but I disagree - I think it’s magnificent. We agree to compromise on "sublime". Beautifully soft palate. Right now, this is saying "best cider ever" to me. It may be sweet but it’s utterly delicious, and gloriously drinkable. Aged so gracefully, presumably in wood from the mellowness. Palate is just right, it has just the right amount of sharpness to balance the sweetness. Wow.

kermis (14205) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 25, 2014
Bottle shared. Pours clear rich golden amber with no head. Aroma of sweet red apples, tart apples, light wood and funk. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic. Real soft sweet red apple palate. Medium bodied with flat carbonation.

50cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. No head. Clear golden pour. Lots of apples. Very easy drinking. The best cider I’ve had in ages.

renffisch (891) - london, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 16, 2014
Bag in a box, Castle Inn, West Lulworth. Hazy amber, no head. Quite smokey nose, farmyards flavours and a tart finish.

imdownthepub (14983) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2014
Draught at The Orchard Inn, Bristol. Gold with no head. Sweet, fruity dessert apple type cider, thinnish a little claggy on the palate. It’s ok.

apickles (578) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 27, 2014
Tasted at the annual ale and arty beer festival in Stockton. Slightly cloudy with a hint of red colouring, but mainly golden. Quite a strong nose, slightly vinegary traditionally smelling cider. Really quite nice, full of flavour, just slightly drying on the mouth.

minutemat (5804) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 6, 2014
500ml bottle from New Forest Cider, Borough Market. Exceedingly good cider, fruity and rich with overripe apples and just the right amount of dry earthiness on the finish.
