Bottle shared at RBSG. The beer is a hazy copper with a white head of foam. Grassy and earthy aroma. Nice sulfuric notes with a grassy herbal quality in the taste. Medium body and soft carbonation.

RBSG 17 grand tasting, courtesy of T0rino. Pale, golden, light haze, fluffy head. Nose is pure sourness, funky, yeasty, cheese, meadow. Taste is all of the above with a nice velvety feel, and just enough of a pucker. Really nice!

Bottle drunk 6/10/17.
Cork immediately pushes out violently, but amazingly there is no gushing. Great clarity in the brassy-gold liquid with obviously large amounts of carbonation creating a big, white head.
Initial notes before it really has a chance to breath display light rust, tons of cork and leather with musty cellar, wet hay and lots of horseblanket. But for the rust and cork, it’s quite complex and enjoyable. Anyways, predictably, the metal and cork fade away fairly rapidly and in its place, a sizable maltiness (rich honey-drizzled, freshly-baked bread and biscuity wheat) balances tons of lemon and lighter, fruitier Brett. Quite intense, but I love it. Reminds of early 2000’s Cuvee Rene. No alcohol or flaw. Great, balanced acidity profile, despite the intensity.
More cuvee-like in the mouth, as well, with strong sourness, cellar must and biting lemon-like acidity that gets soaked up, somewhat, by the heavy leather and hay profile of malt and wood. Don’t remember quite as malty a lambic in a long time, but it obviously works well against the strong acidity. Imparts a great texture and there’s little you can complain about here. No big oak, no green apple, low acetic acid. I guess DHVL wanted something that would age nicely and this certainly fits the bill. Showing no sign of slowing down. I assume this is going to be ridiculously complex and interesting in 5-10 years. Already excited to revisit.

Backlogi z kilku ostatnich tygodni - ciąg dalszy. Nie tak bogate, jakaś drobna nuta apteczna. Fajnie mineralne, skóra. Bardzo dobre.

Bottle shared by tom10101, MANY MANY THANKS MAN FOR THE OPPORTUNITY! Tasted blind. Pours a pretty clear golden with a small white head that leaves low lacing. Nose is of light rubber, sweaty socks and generally funky. Taste is moderately tart and a little citric. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. A really nice one! Felt almost like some 3 Fonteinen at times but I also thought it could be an Oud Beersel maybe.

Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JAN 25, 2017
Bottle: Served in a taster: Fluffy off white head. Cloudy orange body. Nose is immense cellar tone with some dust and mold... quite woody and a very light fruity tint. Flavour is more bitter than tart, some yellow/orange fruit, wood, funk, light dry, cellar, light farm and some light light cheese... Aftertaste is dry, wood, fruit, funk, cellar, wet stone... Low carbo, soft light creamy mouthfeel, more than just medium bodied. With the last pour it becomes a bit more tart than bitter... The nose scares a bit but the flavour is good! Very nice beer!
