This is the closest to just tasting like regular beer any NA beer I’ve ever had has come to. Unfortunately, the beer it tastes like is Heineken. I think it essentially identical in flavor and aroma right down to the thick pall of skunk. It is clear golden in color w/ a small ring of head. It basically just reeks of skunked hops and corn flakes and tastes reasonably bitter and dry. While I don’t think anyone would pin this as an NA beer, I still don’t think its any good.

From 33cl can. Pours golden yellowish, thin head disappeared quickly. Pretty solid deep malty taste with sweet candy notes. Not so bad for a non-alcoholic beer

Sweet malt aroma. Relatively decent body for such a beer. Hop hints, lightly bitter aftertaste. Medium sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

So I’m trying to get 5 of every style and I saved a few styles I hate until the end and now am paying the price. Pours light gold with nose of metal. Tastes of corn, metal, cardboard, sweet malt, and skunk. Thin palate.

Buckler has a thick, frothy, off-white head, a clear, somewhat bubbly, yellow-gold appearance, and pretty heavy lacing left behind. The aroma is of pungent, sweet, biscuit, and some grass, and the flavor is of sweet grain, biscuit, and grassy bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium and a touch slick, and Buckler finishes fairly crisp, tasty, and easy drinking. Yes, it does have a bit of that "something missing" aspect that one gets from non-alcohol brews, but this one tastes more like beer than any I’ve tried, so far. I like it! RJT

33cl bottle. Godl pour. The smell is a bit Heineken skunked. Flavor is light and griany, slight hop. It isn’t good but it has a flavor that I can drink.

Bullit (4686) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAY 14, 2014
Canned from Carrefour. Clear yellow coloured with a white head. Nose is metallic, light malty, sweet. Flavour is sweet malty, metallic, typical low-alcohol taste profile. Watery. Medium to high carbonation.

At first feels great and refreshing, but almost you tip your tongue in it you get a infected sourish feeling. Avoid.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Supermarket Liquor Fort Collins. Pours a light golden appearance with a decent sized white head. A lot of cereal in the nose. Skunk and lemon also offered. A little chewy and crackery. Lemon twangy flavor. Fairly fresh. Low boost house cate scroll past.

Alright, so I can’t say I looked forward to this, but I still wanted to tick this, just because if it’s history. Or rather the brand history, as it developed in The Netherlands. Oddly it’s widely available and I got this one at Gare Montparnasse. Although the looks are okay, it smells way too sweet and quite chemical. Taste exactly how you expect. Bad. It’s not even the poorest alcohol free beer I’ve had though. Just the aroma is so sugary you don’t want to drink it. (25cl bottle from a random shop at Gare Montparnasse Paris)
