jcos (1855) - Maryland, USA - OCT 27, 2012
Location/Date:Bottle on October 27th, 2012.

Appearance: Pours a clear see through gold, with some bubbles.
Aroma: Aroma of cereal malt.
Taste: Very faint bitterness, cereal malt, not as stale as expected.
Palate:Light body, quick finish.

Summary: First off, this is Style Rating 72 of 73 for me - only Lambic Faro to go! I find it kind of ironic that Heineken sells their nearly non-alcoholic beer in a brown bottle that protects light, and their main beer in a green bottle that basically skunks an already poor product. But hey, I’m not in marketing! Similar to my experience with malt liquor, I expected worse than this. Yes it still has a low rating, but maybe a bad IPA is worse than this because with an IPA I have higher expectations.

Clear yellow color white coca cola head. Aroma of light straw. Taste is sweet straw.

ttoadee (1608) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 7, 2017
Clear gold pour, thin white pacake that retreats quickly. Nose is faint hops and malt. Middle is thin malt, and not much more. Finish shows a little hop bitterness. Better than some, but nothing to be sought out.

MarcoBasile (467) - DENMARK - JUN 26, 2017
Pours pale yellow with a big frothy head.

Aroma is light but malty.

Taste is very light. Water with malts and sweet corn.

wlajwl (7115) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 23, 2017
Aroma and flavor is a bit of barley/malts, mild fruit and a bitter finish. Not something I’ll have again but if I had to have a N.A. beer, this was passable.

Acaro (308) - Madrid, SPAIN - APR 13, 2017
Aroma: Very subtle cereals.
Appearance: Golden color with clear liquid and minimal white head.
Taste: Medium sweetness and light bitter touch.
Palate: Light body with thin texture and fizzy carbonation. Short bitter finish.
Overall: Very weak even for a non-alcoholic beer. Nice color.

Lore (2919) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 9, 2017
clear golden colour, one inch dense white head; aroma of grass, some hay,, grainy and cardboard notes;taste of metallic bitterness and sourish-cardboard notes; somehow ’empty’ - which is almost expected in case of a N.A. beer

Zymurgeist2 (2385) - Redwood City, California, USA - APR 5, 2017
Bottle pour. Amazingly clear light yellow with a tinge of gold. Tight, moderate head that is white. Not terribly well sustained. Tiny bubbles throughout with minimal lacing. Aroma is cereal grain. Taste is off cereal. Papery. Really not good, even on the NA scale. Thin and watery mouthfeel.

Bottle - clear pale yellow with high carbonation giving small white head. Strong aroma though not particularly nice. Ok mouthful. Decent tasting, drinkable but no finish. Ok for how alcohol.
