30 cl. bottle. Dark brown color with garnet notes. Big tan head. Smells like brown. Near medium body with coarse, soft carbonation. Brown sugary flavor with little hop until a bit of grass at the finish. Its a good beer for a low alcohol. A bit more hop and it might be better. Finishes wetly sweet.

Embrouille (2843) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 4, 2008
Bottled 30cl. It pours a dark brown beer with a small tanned head. The nose is very sweet hints of wax, honey and coca cola. Watery. Disgusting taste. Sweet, metallic with notes of wax, burnt plastic and honey. Medicinal. Undrinkable.

Aroma of hops and steel. Pours ok though, a carbonated dark brown with a chocolate head. Not a pleasing taste- almost soda like. Sweet sweet soda with a thin body

Just plain disgusting from the first sip, and it didnt get any better along the way. Thin and fizzy, like cola without carbonation.

While in Europe I am disappointed by fluids. The Wines are astringent except for the German Auslese. The Beers are either too carbonated or have bad aftertastes. Water seems like a cop out. The sweet oude bruins are a wonderful drink with street foods. A great replacement for Soda and yummy in their own right. 2nd Best choice Leffe Brune.
