Pours a light pale straw color with a fizzy white head. Grass, grain and skunky aroma. Grass and grain flavors. Light body and average carbonation. Watery grassy finish. beer_rookie (660) - Arkansas, USA - JUL 5, 2015

Pours, whew, it’s skunky! Pours a very very clear, very light straw color. Thick white head but goes away and leaves thin film of lacing on surface. It’s very pretty.
Aroma is skunky but lessens as it sits. I certainly smell the barley malt. It’s got maybe a twinge of hops.
Barley malt is heavy on the taste. The skunkiness is there as you drink it, but it’s not so much a factor. No hops in the taste. It’s only slightly sweet. It might also have a touch of lime in it.
Mouthfeel is clean, crisp. It is super drinkable as it has such a low ABV. It’s pretty much like drinking water. It is quite refreshing.
Overall, it’s good for a light beer. It’s not the best light beer I’ve ever had, sorry Neil Patrick Harris, go ahead and mail the check. It would be a lot better out of a can. It’s overpriced and for the quality, it’s not worth it. I would consider buying it again. As I am writing this, there are some hops that are coming through. So, it’s making a compelling case right toward the end. I would buy it again.
I’m serious, go ahead and mail the check.
Poured from 12 oz bottle into pilsner glass
Appearance: pours a 2" sudsy white head that falls moderately with scant lacing. Color is clear light golden with plenty of streaming carbonation.
Aroma: surprising amount of aroma for the style, sweet barley malt and even some grassy hops and the standard Heineken yeast.
Mouthfeel: light and frothy with a nice dry finish.
Flavor: a watery cousin of Heineken "heavy" with sweet barley and some mild hop bitterness
Overall: for a light beer, it is very good, one of the best in the category. weihenweizen (4098) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - MAY 16, 2015
Refrigerated 12 oz. green bottle. Aroma is Pilsner malt with a hint of skunk. Taste is light malt and some skunk. Eurlager (28) - New York, USA - MAY 4, 2015
Canned version: This is definitely better than any AAL light lagers, since it has a fuller taste and no corn and rice adjuncts. I like the ABV here because sometimes I don’t want a 5% ABV lager.

A semi-watered down version of the regular Heineken lager. A bit more pale, not as shiney in color. Less malts, perhaps a bit less hops, so overall flavor is decreased. Better than the average light beer, but I’d rather go with a 4-5% pilsner, or lighter wheat beer instead. Mikeyaponte (76) - Chicopee, Massachusetts, USA - APR 8, 2015
Not Acceptable. Stick with Amstel light. Skunk light. Buy only if it's cheap or comes with free stuff. If you want all of the skunk, without most of the calories this is your beer.

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2017 Glass bottle from 6-pack. Light flavor with a floral aroma (possibly taste too). Pretty good. slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 3, 2014
"the age old question...is lite skunk better than regular skunk? both this and regular Heini suck...this one may be a touch more palatable flavorwise but the mf is water." bpreo (2943) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - SEP 11, 2014
Heineken Light equals Heineken Light in Alcohol. It doesn’t even have that nice Heineken flavor to rectify drinking it.
