Light straw yellow color, no head. Aroma is faint. Very little malt or hop flavor, mostly carbonation. Finish is empty. While this isn’t a "bad" beer, there just isn’t anything here to rate really.

See Beck’s Light Description. A beer for people who don’t really like beer and want to watch the calories they put in their body. Nothing ofensive about it. Not much flavor at all. Really amazing that beer can have such little flavor.

recipe for this "PREMIUM LIGHT LAGER"- Take one Heineken, pour half out, fill up rest of bottle with water. there is nothing premium about it.

Bottle... Clear, less-than-yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma sells the beer out as being lightstruck. Maybe a mild note of honey. Other than the skunkiness and the whiff of honey, both the aroma and flavor are totally nondescript. Tastes like seltzer water. Light-bodied and fizzy with a short, crisp, clean finish. Tastes a lot like Amstel Light... maybe has less actual flavor.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2007 Clear piss colored with a white head. Smells like a skunk farted. Flavor is really nothing. Not offensive maybe some malt. Just not much here. Super watery.

Pale yellow with a decent white head. Aroma of light malt and hops. No typical Heineken skunkiness. Moderate malt taste with a bit of hop bitterness in the finish. If someone wanted to drink a light beer they could do a lot worse.

"Don’t you wish your girlfriend was," ah, screw it. Pale yellow, not too fizzy, decent head. Aroma of wet cardboard. Flavor of rough grain, but light, barest hint of hops on the end. Could be worse. At least as a Light beer this has an excuse for being bad as opposed to regular Heineken.

This bottled brew poured a large sized head of frothy topped foam with finely sized white colored bubbles that left behind a transparent weak straw yellow colored carbonated body and a good lacing. The aroma was very astringent with malt hop notes that smelled green like the bottle! The mouth feel was thin and mildly tingly. The flavor was thin mildly astringent and just generally ugh! No more please!

Well, for an ultra-light, it’s my fave. That’s not saying much, though. Why the hell do these beers have to be so damn bubbly? Would they be better to leave open overnight? Anyhow, it tastes like Heineken without any body. I think it’s better than Amstel, but, again, that’s not saying much!

Sampled at Broudy"s Beerfest, Orange Park FL, 6/24/2006. This is a mixed drink.. mix Heiny and seltzer water and you got it. At least it wasnt skunked.
