12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Light grassy to cornish aroma. Crisp grassy hops flavoured, light and slight watery. Mild bitter and grassy finish.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of malt, but definately also evidence of the lack of enough malt. The flavor is sweet with light notes of malt and cardboard, leading to a very lightly bitter finish. Thank god I’m not on a diet.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear pilsener golden with a white head. Sweetish aroma of malt and corn. Light-bodied with rather sweet malts, lots of carbonation and the usual lack of bitterness. Your typical light beer. 220307

This scintillating masterwork of brand dilution comes in a can but I’m pretty sure it’s yellow. It smells like swill in a can. If you were ever a teenager, you know that smell needs no professional elaboration. Heinie Light is ethereal in body, grainy in taste and sweet on the tongue. It finishes too quickly to quench my thirst, and without enough alcohol to provide a buzz. If I had tasted this anywhere but on a boat it would have been a catastrophic waste of my time.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Weak, grainy and lightly fruity aroma with a little cellar hint. Dry and thin on the palate, a bit hard carbonation, but not with a too high level. There’s a faint bitterness in the flavor, really faint actually, with pale malts and some notes of fruityness. Short finish. Nothing interesting going on here. 130903

Bottle as shown. Pours a orange golden with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly leaving spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is a skunky corn malt and wet bread. Thin mouthfeel with a clean bready malt with a watery finish. Easy to drink but not much flavor with this pale lager.

bhensonb (16380) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 23, 2007
12 oz green bottle from Corti Bros., Sacramento. Very light aroma of grassy hop. Pale gold color with a white head that ringed. Thin in body, brisk in carbonation. The flavor is rather watery, but there is detectable pale malt, and balancing bitter, which persists. Not so bad for a low calorie beer.

Bottle at Newtown Village Tavern in Cincy. Poured a clear amber with a small rocky white head that diminished quickly. Sharp grainy skunky aroma. Light body with a watery texture. Light grainy flavor with a short finish. Almost worth having once.

Bottle @ home. Pours brilliantly clear gold with a 1" tall frothy and bubbly white head, short retention with spare lacing and the head receding to the side of the glass. Aroma is spunky malt graininess with light spicy hops, light fruity notes though not estery. Sweet corn DMS notes enter and the grain/corn becomes more prevalent as it warms. Flavor is light malt, slight grain and husk notes with rice and corn. Light to faint spicy hops and a light hop bitterness are well balanced with the malt. Finish is dry with a light bite to it. Body is light and thin with medium-high carbonation.

Dogbrick (14510) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 21, 2010
Decided to try this since someone left it in my fridge at a party. The beer is a clear pale yellow color with a thin and fizzy white head that disappears quickly. Minimal lacing. Aroma of corn, mild malt and skunk. Light body with a bubbly mouthfeel and a sweet corn and malt flavor. Mild hops and skunk as well. The finish is semi-sweet seltzer water. Pointless.
