1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
The old standby at many a bar, this beer really is more interesting then most US domestic macros, but not very good compared to what's available here. It's pale yellow color and thin white head make it look like most cheap domestics. The aroma is really faint, you can almost sense some malt if you wish for it hard enough. The flavor is sweet, with a nice dry finish, that's the only reason i've drank it all these years i guess. Not very great, but i'll probably always order one once in a while.

Heineken appears to be a cheap light beer, but it suddenly awakens the taste buds with a crisp flow.

Hard to find fresh in the US but when you do find it you will enjoy. Good even taste with good carbonation and appearance.

As you open the bottle, a skunky smell greets you. Nice golden and heavily bubbled beer that lacks anything that looks like brew. Probably the most overrated beer on the market. Only ignorant or brainwashed people can believe that this low quality macro stands a thousand miles above north-american industrial lagers. Actually it's closer to real beer, but not that much...

One of my faves and with all the recent Australian Open promotion here in Melbourne it was hard to find a place without the brew. I like it and always will I suppose. Its fresh, clean and tastes of Europe. No tartness here.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Ah, the poster child of the skunky green bottle brew. Funny how you order something in a bar that they don't have, the always say "But we have Heineken." Like that's a good thing? Skunky, watery and metalic tasting. I still have one every once in a while, even though I know better.

1.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Nasty commercial beer. Smells bad, tastes bad and it's not particularily cheap.
