Not as bad as some would have you believe. If you are at a club and it is this or AB take this.

Very skunky aroma, I could smell it two feet from the bottle. Has a nice, clear golden color, but the head rapidly dissipates. Really hard to detect any hops, but it does have a very slight maltiness. Dry finish with hardly any real flavor to speak of. Boring and a waste of time.

Watery, drinkable, bland, flavorless, overrated in public. Not the worst beer out there, though - definitely beats all the big U.S. water-beers.

Pretty smooth beer with little or no aftertaste. Should not be considered a premium beer, but definitely more drinkable than your run of the mill American Lagers.

Bottle. Straw gold low head and condition. Low head and condition. Low aromas of malt and hop, forgetable body and slight, dry aftertaste.

Ive had too much fun with this beer in my hand to rate it low. Believe it or not, its been years since Ive had a skunked sample. Nice light malt sweetness with surprisingly firm body. Decent hop character. Would rather have a helles, but this is great at parties when nothing else is available. When I was in Holland, people would carry a six pack in their briefcases.

Cool green bottle comes with "beer" inside. Could have fooled me.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2003 Perplexing. I find this very hard on my innards. Why does this cost so much and why do people pretend to like it? One of the foulest stenches I have ever encountered from a beer. Skunky sewer smell blows you away as soon as you open it. Nasty aftertaste much like copper pipes. This is really a crappy brew. Not worth the extra money. For idiot yuppies who know zero about beer. A mind bender and a stomach churner.
