This past Friday I had to go to my wife’s company Christmas party. This was the best beer they had (open bar).

This isnt bad, but certainly not worth the money. Theres better stuff thats much cheaper. UnionMade (621) - Connecticut, USA - DEC 3, 2002
Ehhh... Slightly better than the average domestic swill, but not by much. The same sweet taste, but more of it. They should make it the same price as domestics and cut the ads in lower income urban areas. iguanatom (24) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - DEC 3, 2002
I agree that many mistake this for a great beer, when it is very similar to many green beers but usually costs just a little more than it should. Easy to drink watery hop-filled beer.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2007 Yippe!! Another crappy european beer in a green bottle. I can feel like a pretentious douch-bag a drink a beer with no taste!
Ahem...drinkable from a can. Clean, boring, about on par with fosters. CapFlu (5127) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 2, 2002
I like this as much as I like Stella. It might be a nice escape from North American brews but you’d be heading in the wrong direction if you want a good European beer. AlabastorJones (814) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 1, 2002
Austin Powers is the only thing Heineken has going for it. Sturgess (173) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 1, 2002
Not one of my favorite’s....but it’s got a good taste and isn’t bad to have one every now and then. I think it’s overated extremely and shouldn’t be considered a "good beer" Cartoonkhaki (1280) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 30, 2002
Kind of watery and bland. but it does have to stonge points . It like gatorade in beer flavour. I could dance all night long.
