Clear yellow almost without head. Aroma is sweet, light malty and light hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Watery and light bodied. 141009 Koelschtrinker (22488) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 18, 2011
Mild herber Antrunk, frisch, wenig aromatisch. Hopfen ist kaum erkennbar, dafür wird die Herbe noch etwas intensiver. Zum Ende trocken, wenig bitterer und kurzer Nachgeschmack. 6/8/9/7/7/7

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2012 Can on BA flight from LHR to Belfast City - 24/08/12.
Wouldn’t have paid for this one but as they are included in your fare on BA so did something to kill time and provide a review on the 60 minute flight!
Pours clear pale blonde with a frothy white head that soon thins. Fizzy carbonation evident by way of visuals.
Nose doesn’t provide much other than grain, wheat, subdued malt and a faint whiff of bananas!
Taste is of sweet malt, caramalised banana (faint!), slightly buttery and with a citrus backnote.
On the palate not as carbonated as the appearance suggested. Still fairly high on the carbonation front but ok in this respect leading to a slightly sweet finish.
Overall a more flavoursome beer than I had anticipated, not having drunk the stuff for some 15 or more years. The flavours dropped and it became blander as I drank. fiulijn (21522) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 19, 2003
Blond color. Light honeyish aroma. Watery body, quite strong bitterness, maybe too much. mcberko (20253) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 14, 2009
330ml bottle. Before I knew what real beer was, I used to think highly of this. Extremely overrated, generic taste, with nothing interesting about it.

Bottle. Plain average overrated lager :)
Very malty - lots of grain. A bit boring

650ml bottle now 5% in UK. Had it on a train as there was nothing else. Not bad for a mass produced lager. Had some nice citrus hop and kept that distinctive heineken taste.Took me back to being 19 Oakes (19547) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 25, 2000
UPDATED: DEC 12, 2004 Probably the first time I’ve had it since they went back to being all-malt. Well, maybe not because I had the Thai version and it seemed structured to local tastes. Anyway, here’s what I’ve got: medium gold colour, whispy head. Grassy aroma with faint fusel alcohol. More high alcohol notes, very light malts, equally light hops. Off-dry finish. I was actually expecting better, but the burn of the higher alcohols is a very Thai characteristic and really sucks. rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 15, 2004
Golden with an ok but quite quickly disappearing white head. Weak but ok aroma and a flavor that passes as ok. Some malt, some hops and a bitter finish. chrisv10 (18827) - DENMARK - APR 4, 2010
33 cl can. Pale golden body with white head. Flavour is malt, watery and a little bitter.
