2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: NOV 6, 2009 Bottled. Well, it was being served at a reception so it was free, which is about the right price. Yes, it does skunk up in the green bottle, doesn’t it. Pours a very thin head that’s gone immediately. There’s a noticeable touch of maltiness at least. No hops. Hard to believe, but this was still better than the 3 Horses I had a few weeks before.<hr>Rating from draft, 9/10/05.Okay, I found a bar that was serving Heinie from InBev’s "PerfectDraft" system, using those 5 l minikegs, with a nice Belle-Epoque steel tap handle. Thinks, "a chance to fairly review an unskunked Heieken." So I ordered a draft in an appropriate .3 l tulip glass. What do I get?
A slightly deeper gold lager color than I expected. A frothy head that thins quickly. But I still can’t find anything resembling a "taste." Almost a total lack of malts and a very slight bitter "tone" instead of bitter"ness." Nothing "off" about it, but also nothing that makes me want another. True "barley pop." No reason to change my rating.
Better than the standard commercial beers but not by much. At least you can drink a few without ordering an Uber Daboch (103) - Gdansk, POLAND - OCT 20, 2017
Wygląd to jedyny plus tego piwa, jasno żółte z niezłą pianą. Aromat praktycznie żaden, w smaku niewiele lepiej. Tylko zimne i gdy pragnienie jest ogromne macca147 (387) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 16, 2017
Tried on tap at various places in England, Australia and the Netherlands. Pours a pale and clear yellow gold with a thin head. Very mild citrus and malt notes. Mild aroma. Thin bodied. Minimal flavour, but tolerable. A bit over carbonated for my liking, but not as bad as most macro lagers. This is ok. edurego (2) - Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL - OCT 10, 2017 does not count
Heineken is a great lager beer, and probably the best in its price range (at least in Brazil). cglans (304) - - OCT 10, 2017

Tall can from BC Liquor stores. Pale yellow with generous white head and a faint beer-like nose. Not as sweet as some pale lagers. Very clean, as in no offensive malt notes that I've found in some other cheap lagers. Refreshing if one is thirsty enough, but generally lacking in hop and malt flavors. 2 gaara1221 (253) - POLAND - OCT 5, 2017
Jasnozlote, jest piana, wyglada niezle. Aromat nikly i malo wyczuwalny, slodowy z jakas tam nuta chmielu. Niska goryczka, pijalne . Troche wysoka goryczka. Ot taki lager mmmeinike (282) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2017
Clear pale with a small head. Grain and corn aroma. Taste is light bitter and very short.
