35cl can from a supermarket in Yokohama. Pours hazy amber to caramel coloured with a dense and lasting off-white head. Rather malty and caramelly aroma with some lightly hoppy notes and hints of spices. Medium sweet with mild flavours, guess it works as a winter beer, but on the boring side. Easy to drink and in the end quite okay. willisread (3800) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 24, 2015
Can from Lawson. Drank straight from the can. Light malt on the nose with some caramel. Average carbonation with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Sweet, but not overly so on the palate. Caramel, light cherry and toffee flavors as it warms. Finish is pretty simple. Not near as bad as some of their other beers. mrjez (711) - Osaka, JAPAN - OCT 20, 2015
Pours an amber-copper with a finger of beige head. Aromas of caramel, citrus, grassy, a little cherry or red fruit. Go slightly sweet malt flavour, hints of flavour from the nose. Easy drinking, quite good. Sevenlee (1846) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - APR 6, 2015

Can from Lawson store. Caramel nose, with rich fruit, apples, and some grass. Dull amber color, small head but thick lacing. Light caramel initial, some ripe apples, slightly sour in mid palate, and a gentle fruity sweetness in the finish. Medium-thin body. Tastes and feels a bit stronger than 5%. Not really "red" in appearance or flavor, but quite an interesting, malty beer (... and a pleasant surprise from this brewery). GenDV138 (7828) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - DEC 5, 2014

Poured from a can in Tokyo. Hazy dark amber with off-white head. Aroma of caramel and toffee. Taste is caramel and toffee, mildly bitter sweet. Medium mouthfeel with good carbonation. Slightly bitter finish. Nice beer. biirusaikou (2705) - - NOV 26, 2013
Caramel malt, plum, red fruits aroma. Sweet malt flavor, strawberry, floral hops, mild bitter finish. A pretty good surprise, but sweetness slowly overwhelms, which gets quite tiring on the palate. KyotoLefty (10808) - Kyoto, JAPAN - NOV 4, 2013
Can from Seijo Ishii, Karasuma. Rich caramel malt nose, chocolate, earthy hops with some grass and a touch of citrus. Malty, yet earthy and dry. Medium amber color with a low, fine head. Rich malty flavor, good caramel with a bit of chocolate, but nicely balance by hops as well. A bit of orange and cherry complement the nutty and earthy character. Nice drinking beer, and much better than their old Christmas red. Good rich body as well.
