Bottled. A yellow beer with a thick light yellow head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with a quite good deal of alcohol, giving it a thick body. A bit simple, but a good winter warmer.

pivnizub (10618) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - APR 27, 2007
Bottle: Golden coloured, medium-sized, lacing white head; estery, fruity notes (a touch of turpentine) in the sweet-bitter nose; sweet-bitter flavour, medium- to full -bodied; fruity and bitter finish. The bitterness in the very end saves this presumable diacetylic brew a bit......... Německe pivo čislo 1500 !

MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - APR 10, 2007
(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a beautiful foamy blond head. Sweet pale malt aroma with a distinctive sour-fruity note and a shy whiff of herbal hops and alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied. Malty, honey-ish fruity, slightly estery taste; medium-dry finish with a balanced malty sweetness and bittering hops. The alcohol is present but not disturbing. Not perfectly clean, but still a drinkable pale Bock.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2006
(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Lovely floral aroma. Medium body with distinctly sweet malt accents and again flowery notes. Some hops in the finish make for a very harmonious and pleasant Heller Bock. 101106
