Pale yellow color with a nice white head. Malty aroma as well as the flavor. The finish is refreshing with almost no bitterness, light body easy drinkability. sic1314 (4967) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - AUG 31, 2012
Reasonably generic Kolsch, not the best imaginable, but certainly not the worst. Pours quite golden, a slight haze. Wheaty, sweet aroma. Quite a dry afterrtaste. Mariusz (12080) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - JUN 26, 2012
Pours clear gold thin head. Light aroma malts mild. Thin flavors simple malts. madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 13, 2012

Pigs Ear. Bottle. Clear gold beer. Strong wheaty malt nose. Soft palate with moderate carbonatrion. Rich pale malts with a bit of orangey hop. Not bad.
Für ein Kölsch ist die Schaumkrone erstaunlich gut. Geschmacklich ist es allerdings sehr wässrig und nach frischem, vielleicht etwas zu frischem Hopfen. Im Nachgeschmack wird der Hopfen bitter. Fazit: Noch ok.

Bottle ( Swing top ) Golden with a small head. Sweet but not overpoweringly so. A good example of a truly lovely style. TheCametron (2480) - CZECH REPUBLIC - MAY 3, 2012
Bottle. Pale golden straw. Clear with a white head. Notes of hay and citrus. A dry hoppy lager. Flavour is a little thin. Does a job. DanielBrown (4546) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2012
Bottle at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured nicely, with a white fluffy head. Not much aroma and quite frankly not much flavour. Rainwater, flat malts. A very disappointing Kolsch, lacking freshness and at £6.10 a bottle, quite frankly this is one of the biggest let-downs of all time. leaparsons (10765) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 14, 2012
Bottle. Golden with a small head. Aromas are biscuit and damp cardboard with caramel and hints of metal. Cereal with hints of lemon. Flavours are cereal with biscuit and light caramel. Dusty yeast with thin lemon and hints of lime. Peanuts with a dry, spicy finish. OK. ganache (6056) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 30, 2012
Swing-top by 07/12. Sweet and dusty light malt nose, slight grass. Rich golden body with medium carb and a soapy white head. Sweet floral character is dominant, with slightly metallic continuation, very sharp. Light but not watery body. Miniscule bitterness and there’s nice bread tone here, but the sweet/oily malt is a bit much to handle.
