Bottled (from BierZwerg.de). Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is quite big on bready and caramelly malts, also has some citrus fruits, mild earthcellaryness as well as some mild herbs. Flavour is wood, fruits, some earthcellar as well as mild bready malts. Biting carbonation. Some slight harsh grainy notes as it warms up a bit, otherwise quite nice.

Klares goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, grasig, herb. Geschmack malzig, getreidig, minimal herb. chriso (21656) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2010
Bottle at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 1 December 2009. Pleasing gold colour. The aroma seemed too grainy for what I expect to be a light, fresh delicate beer. Sweetish on the palate and lacking in crispness. I have generally been unimpressed by bottled Kolsch and this one did nothing to change that. Palatable but rather dull.
