0.33l bottle. Clear golden body without any head. Both the aroma and the taste are quite weak. Some notes of grains, bread and some apples. Nothing super bad about it, its just too weak for me for a maibock.

Aroma pleasant friendly malty heft with light hop noted by alcohol. Solid proper Maibock nose. 7+
Appearance deep gold with medium white top. Good clarity.3+
Flavor and Palate : Medium full bodied. Chewy texture. Nutty front , solid malt bottom , gentle alcoholic warmth. Slight estery behind.

The color is blond-golden. The aroma is really anonymous, while the flavor at least is a bit malty and sweet, but there is also a trace of alcohol. Ordinary bitterness. Quite boring.

Koelschtrinker (19395) - Kln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 21, 2011
Vom Bockbier bleibt wenig brig. 9/8/8/9/10/9

Bottle 33cl. @ home w. swing top.
Unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy earth, wet wood, something is wrong here - have to re. taste this beer when possible. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091026]
