Zlotta (3290) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - MAY 27, 2017
Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at the brewpub, 2017 vintage, best before October 2017. Clear, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, malty and slightly floral aroma of honey, some caramel and hints of straw. Quite sweet, malty and slightly floral taste of honey, caramel, apricot jam and hints of straw, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a bit warming finish. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Okay!

Erzengel (8768) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAY 25, 2017
Bottle from SuperBioMarkt, Wuppertal. Grainy smooth nose. The beer starts fresh fruity, very round and deep. Lots of smooth amber malts there, Mai-bock typical aroma, fresh with grainy hints, lots of dry round caramel. Very soft and easy to drink, moderate sweetish, very round and fresh. Fantastic round brew with grainy hints.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2017 0,33 l Bügelflasche. Bier mit leichtem Rotstich, flacher weißer Schaum, kaum Gardine. Kaum Geruch, dezent würzig. Geschmack dann malzig süß, würzig, leicht alkoholisch. Schön weich, etwas zu wenig Kohlensäure.

kapusil (1432) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 24, 2017
0.33l bottle. Clear golden body without any head. Both the aroma and the taste are quite weak. Some notes of grains, bread and some apples. Nothing super bad about it, it’s just too weak for me for a maibock.
