Nice Pils from a Cologne Brewery. For those who don't prefer the (quite flat) typical Kölsch beer style. Zlotta (3722) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - MAY 27, 2017
Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at the brewpub, best before August 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, quite grassy, moderately fruity and slightly floral aroma of straw, grains and some citrus. Sweetish, slightly bitter, grassy, moderately fruity and slightly floral taste of grains, straw and some citrus, followed by a short, moderately bitter, grassy and dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay! kermis (14479) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 27, 2017
Draft at the Brauhaus shared with Zlotta. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of light yeast, fruity notes and grain. Flavour is above light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation. KimJohansen (10511) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - APR 28, 2017
Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma had grassy hops and malty hints. Flavor was clean and dry with floral and grassy hops. Finished with a solid bitterness though a bit of diacetyl. kapusil (1475) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 28, 2017
On tap at the brewpub. Clear golden body with a white head. Aroma of honey, lemon zest, bread and a bit of grapefruit. Taste of bread, hay, lemon zest and floral hops. The aroma is surprisingly citrusy for a German pils, but the taste is doesn’t show much of this character. I like it.

Bottle from kiosk in Koln. Just slightly cloudy no head. Sweet malts and spicy hop aroma. Great hop character, noble like a Czech pils and a little fruity like a modern pale ale. I like it a lot. All of the beers from Hellers were cool. Probably the best brewery in Koln. hirigalzkar (3242) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 14, 2016
Bottle. A sweet pils with notes of hay and grass and with a herbal bitterness. TBone (17987) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 10, 2015
Swing top bottle at Cologne from eco shop. Clear golden color, small white head, lace. Aroma is grassy and grainy, even a bit papery. Light-bodied. Soft palate, herbal hoppyness and grainy maltyness. Not the most typical German pils. Erzengel (9329) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAY 16, 2015
0,5l bottle. Smooth and fresh beginning. Slightly grainy and dry. Highly drinkable without being too bitter. Fresh and smooth. Nice dry finish with a nice bitter aroma, fresh and round. bartlebier (4108) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - FEB 13, 2015
33cl bottle (no draught)@source, 01/2015. Grainy, from harsher quality grains. Northern pils bitterness, decently integrated. Decent, but drinks like a slightly smaller batch, grainier Flensburger.
