Brown pour with thin, creamy beige foam. The aroma had toasted malt with toffee notes. The taste brought out the vanilla notes and some wood., some hops in the center. Medium body, slick finish.

Draught @ Tapped: This one pours an opaque dark brown color. There was about a finger of a tan head.Nice nose. Mainly malty and nutty. The taste is good. Malts, faint chocolate nuttiness. Nice. ryanscourt (1567) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 4, 2015
Biggest issue is really the thin body but actually has a nice blend of malt flavors and mellow hops. Would drink anytime. jsporrer (1144) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 20, 2015
Sample at the brewery. Pours a deep dark brown with a medium sized tan head. Nice aroma of roasted nuts and malts. Nice body, not too thin nor too thick. Drinks smooth with lots of malt and nut flavor. Not harsh or bitter. Something you can sit back and relax and enjoy. I’ve had many Brown ales that were just too watery or over roasted and tasted burnt. This was right in the middle where it needs to be. Full of flavor and enjoyable. Took a growler to take home and enjoy it again.
