Draft in a snifter. Helltown just won me over. Big hay hop scent over a light brown/amber pour with a foamy head that dissolved to film. The taste was a potent hay, grass hop with a big bitter finish. I took off some points for the one dimensional nature of the taste, but overall, I was very impressed with this local offering. Good beer in Pittsburgh! PanMarek (465) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2016
Strong hoppy nose with lots of floral and fruit, almost sweet. Dark amber pour with thick, persistent foam. Moderate to full body, slightly slick and medium fizz. Complex hops with floral, fruit notes that transitions into a long, sweet, almost antiseptic finish.
Sampled at Pittsburgh Real Ale Festival 2016.

Cloudy gold, offwhite head. Great pine hops nose. Sharp bitter/pine hops, fades to floral and bitter hops. Smooth, but with plenty of carbonation. Wileecoyote (35) - - DEC 26, 2012
Very hoppy beer, medium body, okay taste, would prefer over domestic crap but won?t buy again

From growler on Dec 26th....Nice hoppy and earthy nose....taste follows the nose. Pours a hazy dark brown with nice head and good lacing throughout. Not much carbonation, and very earthy mouthfeel, leaves you with a power full bitter aftertaste. Not sure o the ABV, but overall good IPA. pghbeerlover (10) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 16, 2012
On tap at Beermuda. Wonderful citrus aroma with small amount of pine notes. Poured amber in color with a nice head. The taste was similar to the smell. Citrus at first with a piney after taste. Good hops. Overall this was a good beer. Definately one I would try again
