Sample on tap @ HO1K Beers. Pours an Iced tea color with a thin white ring and some lacing. Light aroma of rye. Fairly smooth with notes of wood. Somewhat earthy notes and a dry rye flavor. Smooth finish. Good but not great. Enjoyable. douglas88 (9178) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 16, 2015
On tap in WashPA. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. A big sweet fruity nose, rye. I really get round spicy rye notes, light tropical mango, caramel, light citrus. Smooth. DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 16, 2015
Draft at Capone’s. Straw pour with nose of pale malt, mild berry, spicy florals. Not much berry in the flavor, mild rye, some hops. hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 13, 2015
On tap at Capone’s. Poured an amber color with a small sized head. Citrus, some fruitiness, and some rye in there, but not too much. cheap (5857) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 3, 2015
On tap at the mad mex. Look, if you like this style, ipa laced with rye, you’ll like this beer. Just reverse my numbers. Me, not an ipa lover found this to be quite fresh in its attitude however, it terribly on style. Smell is like your favorite mates BO after sex. Looks a little darker than a pale lager, perhaps yuengy in looks. Taste is a big fresh nasty Nellie bitter rye ipa thing. Sharp bitterness fer sure. A little bit of spice in there. Finish is strong long lasting rude thang. Fer on style fer sure and again one of the fresher samples of this style, at least makes it somewhat palatable to this girlie lager lover taste bud.

A nice rye beer. Aroma was decent. All grassy and earthy hops with not much else. Pour was a nice burnt amber with a one finger off white head. Taste was a perfectly balanced mix of rye, strong resinous hops and malt. Nice carbonation. Good all around beer. Nice bitter hoppy finish Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 4, 2014
On tap at the Knick. Mild grassy hop notes, light ry spicy character. A bit of paper. Coppery amber clear with thin off-white lacing head. Medium body with light carbonation. Starts medium sweet with fruity hop character, some peach and apricot. Light rye and grass character with some warming and alcohol sweetness in the after. Tasty. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 21, 2013
Sample at WFPM. Pours an orange-amber with medium beige head. Nose of citrus, pine, rye, and caramel. Medium body and bitterness. Decent rye pale ale. Fresh hoppy, mostly citric, flavor with some rye and caramel malts Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 28, 2013
This one poured a darker orange color with an off white head. Aroam was citrusy hops, light caramelt and big rye spice. Flavor was a great balance of rye fruitness and hop fruityness. One of the best Rye IPAs ive had for sure. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Pretty disappointing for a Rye beer. Not much flavor and a little watery even with the higher ABV. Slight hops but not much.
