courtesy of Per - cloudy golden-orange colour with a little and irregular foam but a correct lace; bready aroma with some herbs underneath; solid mouthfeel, some initial sweetness balanced by a decent bitterness; dry and bitter, grassy and malty finish - a well-made pils presenting a solid character

A Mes rate: Bottle at RBESG. Nice cloudy gold with a white head. Hoppy aroma with some sweaty feet but it is actually ok. Hoppy and grassy flavour with some slight straw. Ok.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2011 Bottle at RBESG 2007. You know what? I am starting to warm to some pilsners. Gold, thin white head. Light hop aroma, playful. Simple pils with good metallic, carbonated biting hop on the end.

Rune (11632) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 6, 2006
Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse No.68 in Stockholm. Unfiltered. Pours a pale yellow body over a medium white foamy head. Fresh grassy aroma. Hoppy fruit notes dominate the taste with a solid touch of oranges. Dry ending. More than average for a pilsener (30.11.2006).

My nose was a bit stuffed when I tried this one so I might mot have felt the whole spectra of aromas. However, rich in taste, lots lf hoppy bitterness and grassy aromas. Maybe a little thin. The beer is unfiltered and not clear yellow as you would expect a pils to be. Also not as "clear" in taste as others in the same genre. But likable to say the least.

A slightly hazy pale yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of citrus, while the flavor is sweet malty, with a light body.
