UPDATED: MAR 8, 2018 Really good ESB! One of my fav Ont style English Pale Ales.Roasty toasty malts, bready, yet balanced with the right amount of hops. Dark amber/light brown in color. Pours with a frothy head. Combinations of malt and hops give it a mild bitter finish, Nice beige head and good glass lacing. One of my "go to beers". Highly recommend. :) Raistlin (530) - London, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 11, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 12, 2018 It pours amber orange with average white head that lasts a while and leaves bit of lacing behind. Medium body with slight floral bitterness at the end, but not overwhelming. Mild grains aroma. Leaves nice bitter feeling that lasts on your tongue. cdn_brewer58 (1) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 18, 2017 does not count
Nice amber colour. Complex malt backbone balanced by a nice hoppy aroma and flavor AleRider78 (1550) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 6, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2017 On tap at Bier Markt, Ottawa. Pours an average size frothy tan head, good retention, ample dirty lacing all around. Has a very dark amber coppery appearance. Aromas of bready and toasted malts, subtle smoky hints. Flavours are a little bit sweet, more of the toasted malts. Notes of earthy hops and resin. Some nice bitterness that lingers in the finish. paulcliff (81) - - SEP 15, 2017
Slight floral aroma w hint of sweet malt detected also. Pours a deep brown colour, clear, almost no head. Tastes like a rich, malty English Ale - sweetness gives way to a bitter finish. Quite nice.

The beer pours a clear crimson colour with a half inch creamy light brown head which takes a minute to reduce to a lacy film on top. The aroma is grainy malt, weak roasted malt, light caramel, and some noble hop notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is bready malts with a weak hop bitterness in the finish. Nothing offensive in the aroma or flavour but nothing that says ‘try me again’
Draught at Comrade is spectacular. Clear brown, beautiful lightly tart fruit and light citrus, yea, herbal bitter hops and toffee, biscuit, great session. lukin (672) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 18, 2017
bottle. Copper-red colour with thin head. Toasted malts and earthy, pronounced bitterness. Good ESB. googleimage83 (172) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 26, 2017
Clear orange-red pour, attractive head. Malty orange nose, cherry notes. Boozy and overly sweet for my taste. Taste of orange and vanilla (creamsicle?), roasted toffee malts, wet veggies; a bit of a cheesy note. You don’t have to look far to find a better ESB. 97hill (245) - - MAY 14, 2017
