Bottle. Aroma vanilla, honeyish, some diacetyl. Hazy golden colour. Taste has moderate diacetyl, moderate to light high bitterness which however seems rough, sharp. Also slightly too much carbonation. Herbal grassy hops character. Some work needs to be done. Looking forward to tap version.

Pilsner glass on tap at U Kacire. A very pretty beer. Aroma is faint citrus, while taste is mostly bitter with a bit of citrus as well. Not your usual Czech lager, but I don’t feel the need to try it again.

On draft at BeerGeek in Prague. One of the better breweries that is recreating the old school beers of Bohemia. If the world is going to start loving lagers again these guys are making the sort of beers that will supply the new wave.

Keg 0.4 l, Włodkowica 21, Wrocław, Poland.
Zote, mętnawe piwo z niezbyt obfitą pianą i słodowym, lekko chmielowym aromatem. W smaku orzeźwiające, lekko słodowe z łagodną, chmielową goryczką na finiszu.

Bottle at work shared by Simon, thanks. Pours golden color, white head. Aroma is malty, hoppy, bit citrusy. Taste is very hoppy for this style, I like it. The taste continues with medium sweet malty taste, floral hops, citrusy.

Tap at the Arts Café, Kralupy n. V., CZ; pale golden color, high stabile frothy head. Aroma of malt, bread, hints of citrus and some apples. Hoppy taste with tones of grapefruit, notes of malt, grains. Strong bitterness (for the pilsener), but at first light sweetness. Finish is long, dry and bitter. Average carbonation, medium silky body.
Not my style, but very well done one.
