COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Golden color with white foamy head. Aroma is fairly off-putting, rotten egg mostly. Taste is similarly bad. One of the worse beers I’ve had recently.

On tap at BeerGeek in Prague-CZ with Mowbeer. Pours a semi-clear golden bright color, incredible white foam with lacing. Nice. Nose: biscuity, a bit of caramel, floral mild background. Mouth: fresh mild cookies notes, watery with a decent peppery finish.

Gurthnar (5923) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - SEP 3, 2015
Bottle. Aroma vanilla, honeyish, some diacetyl. Hazy golden colour. Taste has moderate diacetyl, moderate to light high bitterness which however seems rough, sharp. Also slightly too much carbonation. Herbal grassy hops character. Some work needs to be done. Looking forward to tap version.

Pilsner glass on tap at U Kacire. A very pretty beer. Aroma is faint citrus, while taste is mostly bitter with a bit of citrus as well. Not your usual Czech lager, but I don’t feel the need to try it again.

Tim Webb (449) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 13, 2015
On draft at BeerGeek in Prague. One of the better breweries that is recreating the old school beers of Bohemia. If the world is going to start loving lagers again these guys are making the sort of beers that will supply the new wave.
