Available in 500ml bottles.
Lightly sparkling.
Exhibition is a dry cider of the highest "exhibition" standard, and at 7.2% vol it is a strong and characterful addition to the Henney’s cider family.
Late in the spring, when cider from the previous autumn has matured, cider makers exhibit their cider for judging in friendly competitions, and the new Exhibition cider represents Mike’s entry into the coveted ’dry cider’ class.
It is, in short, his selection of the best cider from the season.

Bottle, 500ml. *** Colour: Deep yellow golden, clear. No head. *** Nose: Strong apples and vinegar. Mild oaky note. *** Mouthfeel: Medium body, still watery. Soft carbonation. *** Taste: Intro of dry, tart apples, mild vinegar. A little more sweetness, fruitiness inn the middle, abruptly leading into a dry-as-dust finish. Aftertaste of musty apples, lemon. *** Impressions: Well-crafted dry cider with intermittent fruity notes, very refreshing. Surprisingly light, hides its alcohol very well indeed. Superior dry cider may not be to the taste of cider fans who like things fruity and accessible. More like a dry wite wine, actually.

Bottle from Walsgrave Aldi. Headless pale yellow. Mildly dank fruit peel and calamine aroma. Bright, lively and dull with more mellow dank tart fruit and hints of almond booziness, Chewits and distant oak. Easy to drink but not worth the units.

Light golden in colour sparkling with no head. No much nose. Taste strong apples quite tart a little drying on the mouth. Pretty strong alcohol tasting stuff.

2013 vintage BB Oct 2015. Slightly hazy orange, lightly sparkling, no real head. Aroma is apple, vanilla, a touch of cider vinegar. Body is medium to light, very spritzy carbonation. Taste is vanilla, cream soda, apple juice, some sweetness in the middle but finishes dry. Quite nice.

Bottle. Pale gold with light carbonation. Aromas are pulpy apple with woody notes and apple skin. Green apple with floral, peppery aspects. Flavours are bittersweet apple with tart, lemon notes. Woody on the finish. Good.

50cl bottle from Tesco’s, Camberley - 2013 vintage and 6.5% ABV. A pale amber pour with a light fizz; intense, fragrant, appley aroma; smooth and full bodied, with lots of fruit, some oak and honey; then a dry finish that’s deeply satisfying with some earthy tones. Very good indeed.

Bottle from Tesco Extra Aylesbury, Bucks, consumed at home, Wednesday 5th February 2014. Pours warm gold pretty reasonable clarity. Soft but a good clacky and tart appley bite, the initial softness almost leads you in with a false sense of security but this cider has a good fruity appley zappiness. I very much enjoyed this and would happily have again. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
