Bottle. Pour was medium clear golden with a granny smith aroma. Flavors were medium sweet with more granny smith and a little apple peel tartness in the finish. Decent cider with some slight alcohol in the finish. Still a bit sweet, but ok.
Classy stuff, quite unlike the sour-tart-vinegar flavor of the Somerset booze-monsters; it has a creamy, almost buttery mouthfeel that accent its light sweetness, sans the alkaline chemical undertone of the sweet Estonian ciders. Could be a bit more apple-like (16.9 oz bottle, Von Krahli Aed) sound67 (761) - Offenbach, GERMANY - AUG 28, 2016

"A lightly sparkling cider of medium sweetness with rich mellow flavours typical of English bittersweet apples. Fermented from freshly pressed juice and allowed to mature over the winter, this is a wonderful example of the art and tradition of English cider making." (cider notes) ***
Colour: Deep yellow golden, no head ***
Nose: Intense green apples, hints of vinegar, white wine ***
Mouthfeel: Soft carbonation, medium to heavy, watery ***
Taste: Medium sweet green apples, peel, mid vinegar. Winey notes in the middle, increased vinegar, sweet and sour finish. Mild aftertaste of peel, lemon. ***
Impressions: A very fruity, relatively heavy medium sweet cider, lightly carbonated, very fresh. Nice touches of sauvignon blanc, pleasently tart finish. Very good, recommended. skortila (5950) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - AUG 7, 2016

Bottle. Clear golden body, small head. Simple juicy aroma with sweet apples, not much wood or medicinal hints. Maybe some weak hints later on. Sweet juicy taste - very clean, not much special features. Finish has some yeast and peels. Clean and enjoyable but doesn’t offer anything unique or memorable. deanso (10178) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - MAY 17, 2015

On pouring, it’s a beautifully sweet appley aroma. In the glass it’s got some much drier notes, even a hint of acidity, and once or twice a nice hint of cider yeast. Nice bright orange, pours a bit fizzy. Fairly watery palate, carbonation crisp, but light and easy, no sign of 6% at all, has again a littly hint of cider acidity and yeasty dryness. Taste is pure apples, nicely sharp. Finish a little brief, alas, but it was nice while it lasted. Lovely clear sparkling English cider. Looking forward to trying many more. Goes down so damn easily.
500ml bottle from Les Crepes de Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pleasant medium sweet blend with a slightly raw dryness to the tannins.
