Bottle, 500ml. *** Colour: Bright yellow golden. No head. ***
Nose: Green apples, vinegar, mild tannins. ***
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation. ***
Taste: Green apples, apple peel, dry and mildly sour at the start. Stronger tannins in the middle, with some more sweet apple notes. Finish is dry and moderately sour again, aftertaste of lemon and apple peel, lasting. ***
Impressions: Clean dry cider with enough apple-y notes. Only in the middle there’s a little fruity sweetness. Easy drinking, but not flat. Appealing and refreshing. ManVsBeer (10928) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2016
Bottle from Sainsbury’s, Keighley. Clear golden coloured. Dry in the palate, with this dryness lingering, but there’s a fair apple flavour here too. It’s sweeter with its fruit in its nose.
