Sparkling.
Henneys Dry Cider is our best selling cider. Smooth, light and refreshing.
Sweet, appley aroma. Palate has a delicious bittersweet apple character with some spicy bite and a bit of a tannic grip. Very fruity and quite pure, with a nice savoury twist.

500ml bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours a clear, straw-colored body with no head. Aroma is of fermented/sharp apples. Medium sweet taste along with fresh, crisp apples. Active carbonation with a fizzy, thin mouthfeel. Finishes dry and refreshing. Nice.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Pours a very clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is tartness with some apples. The flavor is tart apples and is pretty sweet. Thin mouthfeel and low carbonation. There is nothing wrong with this cider.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a clear golden body. Aroma is dry, earthy with some sulfur. Taste is tart, and crisp with bright apple flavors. Fizzy and dry mouthfeel. Good English Cider.

Chitown RB gathering Jan 2010: bottle shared by Frank, thanks

Golden hue with a small fizzy head. The aroma is a tad earthy and funky, leafy with a bit of unfermented sugars and butterscotch along with the expected apple overtone. The taste is apple juice and sugar, a tad woody, fleshy, and earthy as well. The mouth feel is sticky and soft. If not for the sugars this would be nice, hardly a "dry cider" if you ask me.

Enjoyed at the Flossmoor Station RB tasting, 1/16/2010: This poured a golden yellow body with active carbonation and a few big bubbles on top. It had an aroma of aging apples stored in an old damp bushel basket. The flavor started off fairly sweet but developed a dry crispness near the finish. Tasty.

Dry darker gold. Aromas are a touch of horseblanket, stink, crisp apples, lightly sweet with a touch of funkiness. Decent body, sweet and dry in nice harmony.

Clear apple juice color w/ a few bubbles of foam on top. Semi-sweet (even though it calls itself dry) and champagne-like. Slightly phenolic and funky. Good acidic balance /w some nice apple and floral notes. Definitely this was sweetened w/ a bit of apple juice but it still comes across as a reasonably good beverage.

bottle, purchased at Wairtose Abergavenny. Clear pale golden colour. Fruity nose. Dry apple flavours with a low level of sweetness, yet not astringent.

50 cL clear bottle. Pours golden yellow with a small to fully gone head. Aroma is slight sulphorish and dry apple aroma. Sweet flavoured with a genuine sulphorish note and vague butterish touch (!?!). Authentic dry apple flavoured finish.

In bottle. Apricot color, quite clear. Smells like a pile of apples that has been in the sun for a few hours. The aroma made me expect to see bees buzzing around the bottle. Taste is crisp and refreshing. The palate was quite nice. I think the yeast gives it some extra depth, although I don’t know how to explain that statement.
