(Rating #7496)

Bomber from Muckey’s. Pours out a very murky burnt orange color. Earthy dank and musty aromas and flavor. Kinda sweet with a medium body and slight bit of pine and citrus. Muddled bitterness at the end.

Pours gold into a tulip. Off white head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Caramel and resin aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and pine upfront turning to sweet resin in the lasting finish.

22 oz. bottle - a solid product from a local brewery. The second Henniker product I’ve tried and felt positive about. Hard to compete with the many breweries offering higher ABV IPA’s but this product definitely competes. I’m hoping it will soon become available in 6 or 4 packs of 12/16 oz. bottles.

Pours cloudy dark copper with a foamy white head. Aroma is oranges, poneapple, and pine. Flavor is dry pine upfront with dry biscuit malt. Followed by sweet orange, pineapple, and mango. Finishes with grapefruit and pine hop bitterness. Great label.

Very hoppy. Very dry finish. Pretty much what I expect from a double IPA. Good, but hard to distinguish from others.

Bottle from Brew Topia. Caramel color with lasting head and nice lace. Spice and mild citrus and fruit (apple?) aroma. Mild toasted caramel nuts and fruit with assertive spicy hop lingering bitterness and fairly dry finish. Medium body. Good.

Poured from bottle into a snifter glass Appearance – The beer pours a hazy orange amber color with a one half finger head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading to leave a moderate level of foamy ace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is quite heavy of bready and buisuity smell with lots of fruity smells of a pineapple, mango, orange, and grapefruit. While there is sweet and hoppy grapefruit, there is a pine hop smell that is more potent. The pine hop is joined by a herbal aroma and a bit of a grainy and onion like smell. With a little bit of a boozy smell, the mix produces a rather odd, but somewhat satisfying smell. Taste – The taste begins with a sweeter fruit flavor of tangerine, pineapple and mango with some other malty and sweet tastes of a bready nature and a bit of caramel. Some light citrus hops are present upfront, with them being later joined by some earthy hops more toward the middle of the taste. The earthy hops become the predominant hop flavor as the taste moves on with them being joined by a lighter herbal and grassy hop flavor at the end. While the hop increases, so too does the tangerine sweetness bringing a decently sweet and dankly hopped flavor to the tongue. With a little bit of a boozy flavor also joining the profile at the end leaving a dirty, earthy “green” hop, and fruity flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thicker and creamier side with a carbonation level that is on the lower side. Both the thicker body and lower carbonation are nice for the mix of fruity and earthy hops blending the two somewhat opposite flavors nicely. Overall – A sweet, but somewhat dank and “dirty” hopped IPA. Rather nice and tasty.

22 oz. bottle. Light orange pour with a one finger white head. Some lace. Earth, grass and floral hops on the aroma. Earth, grass and floral hops on the aroma. Some pine resin. Flavor is lightly sweet. Again, the hops lean to the earthy side. Some citrus flavor, mainly orange. Full bodied and smooth. Quite easy drinking. Nice
