3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: FEB 8, 2013 This is the first day that brews became available from the new home town brewery and this one has exceeded my expectations. It looks good in the glass and has a very sweet citrus and floral aroma. The hop flavors of pine and citrus are strong but not overpowering. If you’re a hophead then you’ll thoroughly enjoy this beer.
Sweet piney aroma to me and that had me pretty hopeful. But...a basic IPA the bitter really overtakes the aroma of the hops. Not bad but pretty close to other microbrew iPad.

BOtter grapefruit and tropical fruit, which is exactly how I just described their Miles & Miles pale ale yet they are quite distinct. This one’s heavier on the grapefruit and features different tropical fruits, more pineapple than mango or something. rjplumer (1239) - Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 4, 2016
Crisp grapefruit aroma. Deep reddish copper body with bold white head. Bitter but is balanced well light malt character. Subtle citrus fruit in background. A respectable IPA closer to an English style. WillRunForBeer (2804) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 25, 2015
Straight from the can at Christmas. Thanks, Jeff! Big pine aroma. Flavor is caramel, sweet grapefruit and pine. Pine bitterness in the finish. Tastes bigger than 7%. Heather_B (256) - New Hampshire, USA - DEC 15, 2015
Had a bottle on 3.20.14. Welp, I’m not getting that "unmistakable flavor of grapefruit" they promise, unfortunately. Lots of malt comes through in aroma and flavor. Additionally, I’m getting some stale hops. Bottle had no date on it so it’s hard to know how old/fresh this is.

Keg pour at NH Brewfest. Appearance is hazy golden yellow. Aroma is pine, citrus. Taste is pine, citrus, and resinous moderately bitter hops. Palate is light bodied with average to lively carbonation, finish is bitter citrus. Overall, a pretty straightforward IPA without anything surprising or standing out. Super swap dump murky pour, thick and gross caramel and slug. Nice subtle white head and lacing. Aroma of old orange, distant hop product. A more malt aggressive Ipa if one. Aftertaste is gross bitterness with orange particles. Can’t judge a book by its cover.
(Version à 7%) (1585-150915) John25 (1291) - Middletown, New Jersey, USA - JUN 24, 2015
Draft. Gold Amber mix. Light Grapefruit and pine. A little caramel. Very very drinkable. More of a pale ale than an ipa. Not bad. bottleforager (3211) - Gray, Maine, USA - MAY 31, 2015
Pours a orange golden color with a finger of white foam. Lots of caramel malt on the palate with sticky mouthfeel and a hint of cardboard. Pine and citrus hop profile that has moments of focus but gets a bit astringent on the finish.
