COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Slinger gets its golden copper color from the light caramel malts, which provide a solid backbone to support all the great hops. This beer presents with an overwhelming citrus aroma that leads into an unmistakable flavor of grapefruit. Hop Slinger leaves you with a nice dry bitterness that pairs well with spicey curries, salty fried foods and ginger based deserts.

Poured from a 22 into a mini snifter. Smells of caramel and a bit of resiny hops. Taste pretty much follows with a nice bitter finish.

BOtter grapefruit and tropical fruit, which is exactly how I just described their Miles & Miles pale ale yet they are quite distinct. This ones heavier on the grapefruit and features different tropical fruits, more pineapple than mango or something.

Crisp grapefruit aroma. Deep reddish copper body with bold white head. Bitter but is balanced well light malt character. Subtle citrus fruit in background. A respectable IPA closer to an English style.

Straight from the can at Christmas. Thanks, Jeff! Big pine aroma. Flavor is caramel, sweet grapefruit and pine. Pine bitterness in the finish. Tastes bigger than 7%.

Had a bottle on 3.20.14. Welp, Im not getting that "unmistakable flavor of grapefruit" they promise, unfortunately. Lots of malt comes through in aroma and flavor. Additionally, Im getting some stale hops. Bottle had no date on it so its hard to know how old/fresh this is.

Keg pour at NH Brewfest. Appearance is hazy golden yellow. Aroma is pine, citrus. Taste is pine, citrus, and resinous moderately bitter hops. Palate is light bodied with average to lively carbonation, finish is bitter citrus. Overall, a pretty straightforward IPA without anything surprising or standing out.

Super swap dump murky pour, thick and gross caramel and slug. Nice subtle white head and lacing. Aroma of old orange, distant hop product. A more malt aggressive Ipa if one. Aftertaste is gross bitterness with orange particles. Cant judge a book by its cover. Eh

Draft. Gold Amber mix. Light Grapefruit and pine. A little caramel. Very very drinkable. More of a pale ale than an ipa. Not bad.

Pours a orange golden color with a finger of white foam. Lots of caramel malt on the palate with sticky mouthfeel and a hint of cardboard. Pine and citrus hop profile that has moments of focus but gets a bit astringent on the finish.
