for a light beer, it’s not bad, but that’s like saying, for a D student, he’s not that bad. No horrible qualities, but the light here means just that...light on flavor, hops, and body." philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 26, 2010

Bottle... tasted more like a Golden Ale to me, light hop character and very sweet, not very intricate, but I feel like it was trying to be. Just not quite the hardiness I look for in a beer. Decent for a cheap macro, but would rather skip this one. jake65 (4003) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - MAR 29, 2006
Poured a nice medium amber color with a small head. Tasted of malts, caramels, and traces of citrus. Very light, faint flavor. Not much of a kick in this beer. oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 30, 2005
Pours a nice medium amber color. Aromas of caramel, malt, and a touch of hops. Flavor is smooth malt with a little bitter in the finish. Great beer for the price.

A good light amber beer,. Not much body but had some taste. They mised on some key areas like a roasted malt that could add to the flavor. I wish they could slow down and actually ferment longer than 3 days so they can get some added flavors . smackie (54) - St. Augustine, Florida, USA - SEP 8, 2005
Caught a 12-pk on sale at WinCo for 6.78. Not my favorite by anymeans, though I prefer it over Henry’s Private. Where did the porter and blackberry wheat go? Very white soapy head. Nice amber color. Drinks just fine for what it is. I’d only buy it for this price while wanting to cut calories. By far better than any BMC offering. Tom Servo (424) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUN 2, 2005
Well, hopefully I consumed less calories by drinking this. Very light in everyway... flavor, aroma, and just the overall presense are pretty limited. Sham (1844) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 15, 2004
Amber with hints of ruby. Large off white head and some lacing. Caramel, some malts and citrus hops in the nose. Citrus and peppery hops dominate the flavors. Malts back this up with mostly caramel. There is a slight sweetness to it, but not much. The palate is thin and a little touch of spice to it. The finish is of caramel and citrus. BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - JAN 16, 2004
Pellucid, bronze, creamy full bodied thick head with perfect formation that lasts and gives a little lacing. The aroma is lightly malty, a touch of caramelt and toffee with a faint hint of citrusy hops. The flavor is way off balanced though, it tastes a little off sweet like fresh wort with an aged off bitterness. Finishes acidicly with a light and metallic body. The taste and finish were the downfalls here, but the aroma was decent, just very faint.
