Belgian Style Wheat is as refreshing as a beer can be. Try topping it with a wedge of citrus to complement its aromatic Cascade hops and its hints of orange and coriander. Light and crisp, it's just what you need to keep cool during strenuous Northwest days spent hiking, boating or just plain basking.

I really like this beer, just to have around as an everday kind of session beer. has a kind of fruit loop cereal maltiness with a lot of orange rind and corriander dominating, light and refreshing on the palate

From a bottle at Belmont Station--Poured a clear golden-copper body with a fluffy white head. Nose unbelievably similar to Fruit Loops cereal. Flavor, too! Synthetic, artificial, lab-produced beer with a mild hint of Belgian yeastiness. Citric bomb. Ick!

A tasty, not-very-Belgian brew, that was super-wheaty. Enjoyed in Portland, OR, at a farmer’s market.

12oz bottle pours out a nice clear gold topped with a white head. Aroma of sweet oranges. Tast not much going on. A little more of the sweet orange. Not bad on a hot day.

12oz bottle: i dont even know if i can call this beer. pours golden brown with decent white head, aroma has a hint of malt, flavor isnt beer at all its like ginger ale and fruit loops. doesnt taste belgian at all but an easy drinker.

robforbes (2266) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - APR 14, 2008
pours a clear yellow-orange with a thin white head. smell is fruit, tangerine, some spice, and maybe just a touch of wheat hiding in the back. taste is sweet, a little tart, spice, orange peel, aftertaste lingers and is not good. overall like the others have said, too sweet and no wheat.

Reid (2626) - Salem, Oregon, USA - FEB 15, 2008
Ok looking beer, bright clear orange with a nice enough large off white head. Aroma is mostly citric, with small hint of coriander. Very sweet taste, some citric, very little spice, little wheat. Watery palate. I had suspected this was the same beer as Summer Wheat, but though it is similar the ingredients in this onne seem even tamer and watered down than that. Having said that, if you like sweet beer, it really isnt THAT bad.

Screwtop bottle. Pours clear gold with a thin and fading white head. Fruit, citrus and cotton candy in the aroma. Light body and active carbonation. Cotton candy taste with a little citrus participation. There’s the faintest hint of wheat that almost helps to dry out in time for the finish, but not quite. "This ain’t no beer, this here is sodee-pop." All miserable attempts at joking aside, how can this possibly be called a Witbeer? Where’s the wheat? Where’s the sour edge? Shouldn’t there be some spiciness in here somewhere? Or is the over-carbonation fighting with my taste buds? And it’s completely clear, even at refrigerator temps. What’s up with that? Is this stuff mis-labeled??? I’m kinda torn between wanting to give it a bad rating because I don’t particularly like it; and giving it a horrible rating because it’s so far off the style. This stuff is just too weird.

poured a thin weak head that fell quickly. clear golden/honey color, no appearance of wheat. holy crap this smells like froot loops! Someone told me he likes Blue Moon because of that aroma, I’ll turn him on to this. all i get in the aroma is the artificial sweetness that makes me want to follow my nose (it always knows) to a good-for-you balanced breakfast. the sweet flavor dominates up front but doesn’t linger too long or coat the tongue, but when it dissipates there isn’t any malt or hops or anything else to take over. there’s no wheat flavor but it is very crisp and clean and aside from the initial sweetness, there are no skunky, sour, or spoiled sides to deter me finishing it.

Pours amber with a red hue and a thin white head. Aroma of sweet citrus candy, coriander, and Sunny D. Flavor is very sweet, reminds me of flavored water with the candy sweetness against the thin body. Wheat flavor is minimal, carbonation is light, killing the crispness. Overall this is way to sweet for me, I can’t finish this one.
