pours a clear yellow-orange with a thin white head.
smell is fruit, tangerine, some spice, and maybe just a touch of wheat hiding in the back.
taste is sweet, a little tart, spice, orange peel, aftertaste lingers and is not good.
overall like the others have said, too sweet and no wheat. jstek (8) - USA - JUL 27, 2008 does not count
The comparisons to Fruit Loops are spot on. Not the greatest, but drinkable in small doses. I tasted it as a sample at the Portland Saturday Market and really liked it, then went out and bought a 12 pack. Mistake. Will not buy again. bitbucket (2165) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - FEB 13, 2008
Screwtop bottle. Pours clear gold with a thin and fading white head. Fruit, citrus and cotton candy in the aroma. Light body and active carbonation. Cotton candy taste with a little citrus participation. There’s the faintest hint of wheat that almost helps to dry out in time for the finish, but not quite. "This ain’t no beer, this here is sodee-pop." All miserable attempts at joking aside, how can this possibly be called a Witbeer? Where’s the wheat? Where’s the sour edge? Shouldn’t there be some spiciness in here somewhere? Or is the over-carbonation fighting with my taste buds? And it’s completely clear, even at refrigerator temps. What’s up with that? Is this stuff mis-labeled??? I’m kinda torn between wanting to give it a bad rating because I don’t particularly like it; and giving it a horrible rating because it’s so far off the style. This stuff is just too weird. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 22, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2008 Bottle... Poured orange with a huge head that dissipated immediately. Aroma of Hi-C juice and pretty much tasted like Hi-C Ecto Cooler juice with fermented yeast. That’s pretty much it, this beer does shame to the style. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - OCT 16, 2007
Pours amber with a red hue and a thin white head. Aroma of sweet citrus candy, coriander, and Sunny D. Flavor is very sweet, reminds me of flavored water with the candy sweetness against the thin body. Wheat flavor is minimal, carbonation is light, killing the crispness. Overall this is way to sweet for me, I can’t finish this one.

poured a thin weak head that fell quickly. clear golden/honey color, no appearance of wheat. holy crap this smells like froot loops! Someone told me he likes Blue Moon because of that aroma, I’ll turn him on to this. all i get in the aroma is the artificial sweetness that makes me want to follow my nose (it always knows) to a good-for-you balanced breakfast. the sweet flavor dominates up front but doesn’t linger too long or coat the tongue, but when it dissipates there isn’t any malt or hops or anything else to take over. there’s no wheat flavor but it is very crisp and clean and aside from the initial sweetness, there are no skunky, sour, or spoiled sides to deter me finishing it. rcasta (864) - EL SALVADOR - FEB 25, 2009
Desde seattle hasta la casa de hawie con el gordo y esta me parecio como florero y naranja agria. No lo que busco en birria Ramenen (466) - San Salvador, EL SALVADOR - FEB 26, 2009
Thanks to ghawener. Very sweet nose like honey. Light bodied. You can truly taste the orange and spice, however, it felt a bit artificial. benjaminbier (45) - Oregon, USA - SEP 26, 2010
Bottle, crystal clear, effervescent. Massive tropical fruit taste, absolutely clear pour, wheat flavor absent. cloying, oily feel. DuffMan (10436) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 7, 2010
Bottle. Apalling beer on every level. It smells like Ginger ale and tastes like a cheap shitty shandy. An abomination. Drainpour.
