2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Straw color, very "skunky" aroma, thin mouthfeel, little to no taste, easy to drink but pretty boring.
From old tasting notes. Hazy gold color. Big bubbly white head. Perfumy citrus malt aroma. Sweet tangy malt flavor is fruity and crisp. Brief sour finish. crispaire (244) - - FEB 22, 2017
weak aromas of hay, grass, and tin can. the taste is reminiscent of a cross between a lager and a golden ale. got a little bit of barnyard funk. unfortunately not much in the hops department. ice cold on a hot humid summer day is the way to go here. Popoff91 (124) - Oregon, USA - AUG 12, 2016
12-ounce bottles in a glass. A little boring, but that’s standard with Pale Ales. Not bad, especially for the price, but I would pick the Private Reserve from the same company before this one. brandon1989 (691) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - JUN 14, 2015
Pours a clear golden color with a bubbly white head that dissipated quickly. The aroma is sweet malts, sugar, white bread, and some mild hops. The taste is lightly toasted barley, white bread, cereal, and mild hops to help balance. The mouthfeel is light and the drinkability is super high. I really enjoyed this beer. stevoj (5566) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 15, 2015
Couldn’t tell the difference between this and a lager. Not sure what makes it an APA. Not much aroma and taste, kind of bland.

Gaga Lok and this is just another yellow piss beer from the PacNW. Tastes like it should basically. slowrunner77 (12804) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 18, 2014
"cleaner than many pales, but that is because it’s a thoroughly weak interpretation of the style. standard macro attempt at a microbrew style. boring." Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - AUG 27, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with yellow tints around the edges of the glass. The head was about a film of a white cap. There was barely any lacing.
The smell had a light spice somewhat like black pepper but not off putting, just different. There’s a light caramel malt gently coming in as it warmed.
The taste was mainly malty sweet with the spice to come back secondly.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. There’s a quick spicy aftertaste and finish.
Overall, APA, uh....sure, it’s a different one alright but nothing bad. maekchu (4054) - Hirakata, JAPAN - FEB 13, 2014
Bottle at The Burrito House (PDX). Sugary sweet malt nose. Pale straw color. Sweet, cookieish maltiness, very light citrus hop, light cake frosting finish. Thin. Claims to be brewed with Cascade hops, but they are not detectable. This was the only beer on the menu that I hadn’t tried before, and so I gave it a go. Pretty "crafty" stuff. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JAN 24, 2014
Bottle. Nose is noticeably hoppy, but the hops smell more like pepper than one of the traditional hop flavors. Taste isn’t all that bitter, but there’s a little bite to it, along with a faint hint of citrus. Not a lot of substance to the flavor, but drinkable.
