Comes in a clear-green bottle -- that should’ve been a red flag for me. Pours to a golden-yellow with hardly any smell. A tad bit more flavor than say, Miller High Life -- not great. Lightly skunky aftertaste; not good at all. I would’ve rather bought the High Life and saved a buck. ghawener (1604) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - FEB 26, 2009
Bottle: Expected more. Light thin body. Thanks to rcasta, drank with ramenen. next. Ramenen (466) - San Salvador, EL SALVADOR - FEB 26, 2009
Thanks to ghawner. Drank it at a beer session last nite. Truly forgettable beer. Very watery and tasteless. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - MAR 5, 2003
UPDATED: JAN 18, 2006 Very clear and pale yellow ... headless. Corny nose. Thin and watery texture. Malts were reminiscent of wet bread with honey and a little DMS on top. Ripe apple notes were nice, albeit subdued. No head, but rather carbonated mouthfeel ... a little chewy, too. Finish was dry and relatively lifeless. A few seconds later, in the aftertaste, some bitterness (with a hint of toast) surfaced. Not quite enough to balance things out, though. Yawn. PuckLSHS (101) - USA - APR 18, 2005
This one isn’t bad for a cheap pale ale. It is just a hoppier version of the rest of the Miller line. Miller just does not make a good beer. I would not buy this unless I was forced to, but I will drink it at a part for free.

Wasnt impressed with this ale only could handle at small doses maybe one a day. strong sourish taste to me not very pleasant aroma Noobling87 (17) - Oregon, USA - MAR 31, 2008
When first starting with beer, this became my favorite. Now, I cannot stomache it. The term ’skunky’ I’ve seen surely fits the smell. It makes you want to turn your head. Not much flavor here, but the extra carbonation hides that a bit. It’s a little hoppy, with the taste of corn. Not one I’d ever buy again. leeburg (230) - Juneau, Alaska, USA - JAN 9, 2009
Only a momentary pang of some distant resemblance of hops separates this beer from the Weinhard hefeweizen, private reserve, or blonde. They’re all nearly identical, and just not very good. You get what you pay for though I suppose. Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - MAR 29, 2011
12oz bottle. Rating #159. Clear yellow/gold pour with a light white head. All skunk in the nose, it overpowers anything else that might have there. Flavor was the same, more skunk, why would a brewer use green bottles. (1539) igneous1 (1535) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - NOV 20, 2004
fucking green bottle. skunked as a mofo. clear, pale golden, head is white and creamy. aroma is of a black and white striped animal and i’m not talking about a zebra. absolutely putrid. frankly i don’t detect any ale-ish notes in this aroma at all. flavor has very mild but extremely stale citrus hop notes. thanks miller.
