12oz bottle. Poured a real nice dark ruby color, short lasting off white head. Dark roasted aroma, slight hint of coffee as well. Smooth drinker, again alot of roastiness in there. Pretty good. scooterbub (1067) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - JUN 25, 2008
Bottle. Pours a dark red-brown with a thin tan head. The taste and aroma are of caramel, roasted malts and is kind of smokey. One of my more favorite beers as it is very easy to drink and is rather inexpensive in my area. BlackDonald (1126) - Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA - MAY 31, 2008
Not really too much to this one, although it does have a strange drinkability. There is nothing that puts me off about it, other than it is just quite simple. Kind of a caramel maltiness, but not a lot of dark beer qualities, finishes with a hint of nuttiness, and bitterness. thooper41 (556) - BELGIUM - APR 17, 2008
12oz bottle: pours dark brown with minimal tan head, almost no aroma with slight bit of malt coming through, flavor is not like a dark beer at all, has very little flavor and just a hint of roasted malt, nothing to bad but lacks flavor. Sam10 (37) - Olympia, Washington, USA - FEB 24, 2008
I liked this beer not expensive has a good taste. Pours out nice dark color with light tan head. Good malty taste.

12oz bottle Pours out a nice clear brown topped with a light tan cream head. Aroma of malt. tast more malt a little nuts. My first Henry Weinhards brew. I picked up six different ones only 5 to go. bitbucket (2165) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - FEB 13, 2008
Screwtop bottle. Pours clear dark amber with reddish highlights and a lacy light tan head. Some brown sugar and roasty character in the aroma, not much in the way of hops. Body tending to light, texture gets a little watery. Light carbonation. Sweet, nutty flavor, with a touch of molasses. The finish is little grainy, and betrays the fact that hops have been used. Nothing terribly wrong with this beer, but nothing to get excited about either. This one would probably go pretty well with a variety of meals, because the taste is just so darn polite. spikester (606) - Salem, Oregon, USA - JAN 24, 2008
I can’t believe Full Sail brewed this beer. Tastes like they took their most bland brew and poured in a dollop of blackstrap molasses. Looks good, nice head, sweet, malty, and no real character. Had no problem pouring the last third down the drain. Life’s too short to drink this brew. robforbes (2242) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - AUG 3, 2007
pours dark, amost looks like a cherry coca-cola, with little to no head.
smells of hops and grass.
taste is earthy, creamy, smooth, and slightly bitter with a little carbination.
overall a good beer, for what it is... sandollor (48) - GERMANY - JUN 14, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2007 A typical dark lager. This one happens to lack the rich taste I look for, but not too bad. I would try it again if I had the chance.
