This beer pours a hazy yellowish slightly orange color with a thin white head and minimal lacing. The aroma is wheaty and slightly cardboardy with sweet fruity hints. The flavor is light to medium bodied. Heavily wheaty with a cardboard like sweetness in the finish. Ever-so-slightly medicinal in its approach, but not bad for what it is. Sweet, dry finish, lots of malt, and big breadyness with a hint of lemon. Heavy carbonation levels. apost8n8 (123) - USA - MAY 26, 2005
slight hazy colo with white frothy head. Lacing aplenty. Bitter dry front end with a brief honey sweet finish. Too dry for my liking Murphy (1759) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 18, 2005
Light cloudy orange. Sweet from the honey, but not much in the way of wheat. Lots of metallic taste coming through as expected. 3fourths (9345) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 29, 2004
Watery, slight taste of wheat and grain... grainy weak aroma... with a little lemon in the flavor as well. Not much to say, it stinks. igneous1 (1535) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - NOV 20, 2004
hmmm...at least it’s not skunked. color is slightly hazy, medium golden, head is white and puffy. aroma has yeasty notes, and hints of banana, unfortunately no spiciness. flavor is dull, uninteresting with some wheat character in the finish.

12 oz bottle outdoors in Seattle. Beautiful pour - thick lasting head atop golden orange body (unlike many hefeweizens that fizzle out after a few seconds). Banana aroma, but on tasting a bit thin and watery. Excellent American Hefeweizen. TakushBrewer (19) - Corvallis, Oregon, USA - JUL 22, 2004
This is a great, simple wheat beer, good quality for the price. I might be rating this a little high, but i have a lemon in it and it is 100 degrees out, so it tastes like heaven right now, especially because i am drinking it out of a true wheat beer glass. Wish it was a little more cloudy, although it is damn refreshing. AHHHHHH- here’s to summer. brewshthereen (316) - Oregon, USA - JUN 24, 2004
This is light and refreshing. Grainy texture. The wheat comes through with some honey notes. The description on the bottle is right on. On a hot summer day this is nice. Uncomplicated and simple. Overall, not bad. jaysoneslick (24) - Montana, USA - MAY 2, 2004
i loved this beer, my old man bought some and we got ripped while watching hockey and......um...yea............poop 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAR 15, 2004
Bottle pours hazy golden with a medium sized foamy head. Minor lacing, minor carbonation. A very malty/yeasty aroma thats akin to mass produced beers, particularly budweiser. Taste isn't much better, light wheat/malt texture. Its as if someone crossed a semi-decent Hefe with a bud. No, this isnt working for me. Very thin, very little flavor on the finish. Sure would go back easy tho...
