UPDATED: DEC 20, 2006 Wheat beers are among my favorite so I am extremly critical of mass-brewed attempts. This one is ok, nothing special. Looks nice in the glass, not a great aroma. Citrusy, kind of sweet - interesting mix of flavors. TipsyMcStager (1139) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 18, 2003
Not much of an aroma to speak of. Pours golden yellow, cloudy, head thin. Flavour is bland. Lacks fruitiness and acids. Overall weak but unoffensive. BlackDonald (1126) - Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA - MAY 31, 2008
Boring, grainy cereal maltiness with a hint of citrus and light spices. Very sublte throughout, with moderate carbonation and a bit of honey sweetness and citrus acidity. Very boring. stchloe (1067) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 7, 2008
Every Weinhard beer tastes almost the same to me. Not enough differentiation between similar styles. rcasta (864) - EL SALVADOR - APR 17, 2009
Bottle: con el aleman, no mucho aqui de sabor pero agradable.
Drank in Coatepeque. Light with little heffe. Refreshing, More hoppy than malty.

This beer pours a hazy yellowish slightly orange color with a thin white head and minimal lacing. The aroma is wheaty and slightly cardboardy with sweet fruity hints. The flavor is light to medium bodied. Heavily wheaty with a cardboard like sweetness in the finish. Ever-so-slightly medicinal in its approach, but not bad for what it is. Sweet, dry finish, lots of malt, and big breadyness with a hint of lemon. Heavy carbonation levels. drismyhero (815) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - MAY 6, 2002
This hef is nothing more than average. A bit similar to Pyramid’s. A good appearance - nice head and lace and golden in color, but jus lacking in taste. Well balanced, a bit on the malty side maybe and too sweet. I tried one of these with a lemon wedge in it to curb the sweetness, but that will only get you so far. Don’t cringe, it’s really not that bad, my friends do it with any hef. This is a good beer for the price (as is the case with any Henry) but nothing to write home about. wasn't expecting much, and didn't get much. Though the brew looked fogy and enticing, there was a serious lack of flavor. It has that carbonated water flavor that is remenescent of beast and budweiser. Nothing special here. MrRoss (646) - Delta, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 17, 2009
Poured a well-carbonated hazy medium gold colour, and a generous head which left some nice lacing. Aroma was not as expected, being slightly floral. Taste was clean but slightly bitter, not as I’d come to expect from a wheat beer; almost as if the honey was left out of this bottle. However, the aftertaste did sweeten up a tiny bit but still, this is no hefeweizen in the traditional sense. spikester (606) - Salem, Oregon, USA - JAN 24, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2008 Cloudy gold-amber with a half inch of white head. Moderate lacings. Taste is tart citrus orange with some bitterness in the finish. Pretty good wheat beer. The price is right and this could be a good session brew at under 5% alcohol.
