A golden color with a white head and lots of carbonation. The aroma is mildly of wheat. The flavor has some lemon character and full of wheats. A slightly refreshing beer with an unpleasant domestic beer flavor. brewshthereen (316) - Oregon, USA - JUN 24, 2004
This is light and refreshing. Grainy texture. The wheat comes through with some honey notes. The description on the bottle is right on. On a hot summer day this is nice. Uncomplicated and simple. Overall, not bad. Bcoble003 (291) - Jblm, Washington, USA - FEB 22, 2007
pale color slight sweet smell. Couldnt really taste much but it wasnt too bad I would drink it again if i had the chance. dwedin (249) - Happy Valley, Oregon, USA - MAR 12, 2007
Cloudy light orange, disappearing head. Lemon citrus, sweetness, and earthy aromas. Bland tangy, sour flavor with a watery finish. Do the Full Sail brewers like this? BeaverBrown (245) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 24, 2003
Cloudy dark yellow with a small white head. Smells hoppy like a domestic. Taste hops and maybe some citrus, grapefruit. Taste to much like a domestic. Good summer beer though.

Got stuck in Seattle overnight, so I decided to battle the wind and rain and try to find a regional beer. Unfortunately nothing good is near the airport hotels. Weinhard doesn’t distribute to my neck of the woods, so I took a chance with the Hefeweizen. I could have mistaken this beer for MGD if it were a blind taste. I can drink cheap beer. I’m not a whiner. I just thought I was getting a Hefeweizen. The $6/6pk should have tipped me off.

An entire lemon-tree couldn't save this one. Just another Henry's.... not even as good as Widmer's Hefe. linc33 (184) - Albany, New York, USA - JUL 8, 2006
12oz bottle provided by R. McCarty. Malty with brief spice on first blush. Definite honey notes but hollow body and thin mouthfeel. Fades quickly. jpfrog (130) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - APR 17, 2002
This is one of Weinhards’ best beers. It is not great for a hefeweizen, but it isn’t terrible. Good for stocking the fridge if you are low on cash.

slight hazy colo with white frothy head. Lacing aplenty. Bitter dry front end with a brief honey sweet finish. Too dry for my liking
