12 oz. bottle- Pours cloudy golden with a great head, aroma is yeast and very pleasant. The flavor is a decent American Hefe, better than expected. HoppyGuy (111) - Washington, USA - JUN 24, 2008
Bottle. Pours a hazy sunshine gold with a medium white head and plenty of carbonation. The aroma is of citrus. The flavor hits you with citrus/orange up front. There is a subdued hops presence, and sweetness also. A decent brew to have with your buds on a hot summer day. SuperDave (1932) - Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAR 13, 2010
Hazy gold pour. Wheat, yeast, citrus and just a hint of hop flavor. Pretty standard but refreshing. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - SEP 17, 2002
Medium gold color, slightly cloudy, small head. A light bodied hefeweizen. Mild malts and hops. Nice flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet, some residual carbonation. brewshthereen (316) - Oregon, USA - JUN 24, 2004
This is light and refreshing. Grainy texture. The wheat comes through with some honey notes. The description on the bottle is right on. On a hot summer day this is nice. Uncomplicated and simple. Overall, not bad.

Of the three Weinhards that I had at Brian’s wedding this was the one with the most flavor. Tasted like a basic hefeweizen microbrew, without the bursting flavor that something from Belgium or say an Oberon might have. hayduke (5209) - Eureka, California, USA - MAR 20, 2007
The Classic Dark was so good I had hopes for this. Cloudy yellow without much head. Nose was citurs. Mouthfeel a little thin. Flavors were malty with a touch of hops. Finish a litlte light. Not bad, but nothing unusual going on here. kamish (93) - Monroe, Washington, USA - JUN 18, 2007
good, but not as delicious as the widmer brother’s hefy. thooper41 (556) - BELGIUM - DEC 25, 2008
12oz bottle: Appearance is hazy light brown with slow fading white head, aroma dominated by malt mainly wheat, flavor a little over carbonated but not a bad wheat beer. poisoneddwarf (2511) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - JAN 15, 2010
12 oz bottle. Faintly spicy nose, faint wheat. Pours yellowish orange with little head, decent lacing. Taste is salty, somewhat medicinal--not at all like a hefeweizen, although I taste a hint of wheat in the aftertaste. Carbonation is high. Kind of weird and boring at the same time, if that makes any sense.
