Ehh, not really a Hefeweizen flavor, at least not compared to the Widmer Brother’s one, and I rather doubt that compares to a decent German one either, though I have little input. Basically, not a very appealing beer, and leaves an acidic aftertaste that requires a different beer to wash away. BrotherBeer (13) - Colfax, Washington, USA - MAR 17, 2002
Since this is suppose to be a micro brew I have to rate it like one. White+Black=Gray. This is a gray beer and to me is a beer that tries to please everyone. If you put honey in a hefe, it should complement the wheat, not try to be equal with it. It seems they’ve tried to balance the flavors too much. This beer is it’s own stalemate. UPDATED: APR 26, 2005 Dark tan, hazy. Pear, grape, wheat and gooseberry in the light aroma. Light, wheaty body. Some pear/apple notes. Slightly tart finish. mrkimchee (1414) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 19, 2003
hazy deep gold, white head. faint lemon and yeasty aroma. honey malt and lemon zest flavour but a little thin and dies out wat too quickly. AlabastorJones (814) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 26, 2003
wasn't expecting much, and didn't get much. Though the brew looked fogy and enticing, there was a serious lack of flavor. It has that carbonated water flavor that is remenescent of beast and budweiser. Nothing special here.

Pours a hazy light amber with a slight white head that quickly diminishes to a ring of foam. Not a lot in the aroma: a bit of yeast, a very little fruit. Medium body with somewhat fizzy carbonation. The taste is lightly bread/citrus sweet. Just a touch of spice on the relatively quick, dry finish. Definitely from the American branch of the hefeweizen tree. Not much going on in this beer in the way of charactery, but it’s probably a good candidate for serving very cold with a wedge of lemon on a very hot day. 16oz draft 5/13/07(Sharp’s Roaster & Ale house known here as Sharps Roaster Hefe)-A cloudy yello body with a decent white head. Aroma of wheat and slight banana. Taste of nothing that resembles a hefe. rcasta (864) - EL SALVADOR - APR 17, 2009
Bottle: con el aleman, no mucho aqui de sabor pero agradable.
Drank in Coatepeque. Light with little heffe. Refreshing, More hoppy than malty. slowrunner77 (12147) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 16, 2014
not that great...just under average in everything. there is a faint but pleasing aroma, and it’s a little light on the flavor, and the feel is a bit thin." igneous1 (1535) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - NOV 20, 2004
hmmm...at least it’s not skunked. color is slightly hazy, medium golden, head is white and puffy. aroma has yeasty notes, and hints of banana, unfortunately no spiciness. flavor is dull, uninteresting with some wheat character in the finish.
