Not much of an aroma to speak of. Pours golden yellow, cloudy, head thin. Flavour is bland. Lacks fruitiness and acids. Overall weak but unoffensive. xsketchyx (184) - Oregon, USA - OCT 24, 2003
An entire lemon-tree couldn't save this one. Just another Henry's.... not even as good as Widmer's Hefe. igneous1 (1538) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - NOV 20, 2004
hmmm...at least it’s not skunked. color is slightly hazy, medium golden, head is white and puffy. aroma has yeasty notes, and hints of banana, unfortunately no spiciness. flavor is dull, uninteresting with some wheat character in the finish. linc33 (184) - Albany, New York, USA - JUL 8, 2006
12oz bottle provided by R. McCarty. Malty with brief spice on first blush. Definite honey notes but hollow body and thin mouthfeel. Fades quickly. Scarecro (18) - USA - OCT 28, 2006
does not compare to Widmer Brothers. A little to transparent for me. good with some good Blow.

Has a slight hint of the ’cheap beer’ stale-vomit aroma (hints of a light Keystone ICE aroma, the most god-awful beer smell known to man), appearance is a cloudy (good) brown (almost like poop water, not so good), palate-wise it has a nice refreshing neutral flavor. Not a terrible beer and certainly a step above the other big boys BUT I used to buy this stuff because it was a lot cheaper than the microbrews but now it is almost a buck a bottle and many micros can be had for only slightly more. jake65 (4033) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - DEC 14, 2006
Notes from summer of ’04. Bottle: Straw colored hazy pour with a smaller white head. More grainy than wheat, no real hops taste. Very faint aroma of grain. Not real impressive. Sam10 (37) - Olympia, Washington, USA - FEB 24, 2008
Not what I expected being a Hef. Pours out a tan color clear no haze. Doesn’t taste like a traditional Hef. But not a bad flavored beer. troopie (2501) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - AUG 15, 2009
Bottle. Poured very hazy yellow with thin lasting white head. Aroma of cloves and warm rubber. Thin flat wheaty flavour, with a couple spicy notes. Flat finish. Somewhat under commonplace. Bockyhorsey (2638) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - DEC 18, 2005
Aroma was basic crop fields of wheat and corn. Light orange color body with white head. Flavor had a metalic feel to it. Some fruit flavor was trying to come into play but it was faint. I guess there is a reason this is sold for 92 cents a bottle.
