COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American Pale Lager, Henry Weinhard’s Private Reserve blends Henry’s German heritage with the natural ingredients of the Pacific Northwest. If you want to impress your friends, you can say it’s brewed with 100% Cascade hops specially grown in Oregon. But all you really need to know is that it’s crisp, clean and one helluva beer.

I had the Blue Boar Pale ale before I tried this one, but this one isnt bad! this is a good American Standard..It has a decent head, pleasing aroma, and smooth finish...no complaints here...other than I still like the Blue Boar Pale ale better!

Not bad for an American Standard, but it just doesn’t really do it for me...

Two ways to look at this beer. Either it’s a solid effort and is a great fallback when they run out of your first choice at the store. Or it’s a boring brew that isn’t really that exciting. I choose the first option.

Buttery in texture and in flavor. Bo-ring..................................

I lived in sight of the brewery before Miller bought it and tore it down. Not made in Portland anymore and it shows.

This is my favorite beer...it tastes great, isn’t too complicated and not too expensive. Also, has a similar flavor to PBR, so if you start off with six or so of Henry’s, you won’t notice too much when you have to break into the cheap brew.

It’s average tasting beer, nothing special..................................

You can’t go wrong with this, especially at such an affordable price. A great beer to say the least.
