caramel, roasty, earthy, red, clear, light sweetness, not much in the hops, average carbonation, light body, nothing special, has a strange kind of funky aftertaste drowland (9184) - Georgia, USA - DEC 23, 2012
12/23/12. 12oz bottle from Warehouse in Albany, GA. Clear light red/amber pour with a small khaki head that fades to a ring but laces surprisingly well. Mute aroma with a touch of caramel and chocolate and not much else. Light flavor, again with a touch of caramel and chocolate, and a certain mustiness. "Strongly hoppy flavor" ...hahahahaha. coolpop (1394) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - DEC 22, 2012
Bottle. Poured deep amber with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma and flavor were mildly malty, some doughy bread, caramel, hardly any hop flavor bitterness. Nice but forgettable. jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - DEC 20, 2012
12oz bottle-thanks Justin-tight offwhite-amber. A-earthy, med malt. T-sweet med malt-caramel, 2nd earthy/old tea hops. shrubber85 (11706) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - DEC 19, 2012
Bottle. Buttery toffee malt aroma. Amber with small head. Mildly sweet toffee malt and bitter herbal hops flavor. Not horrible but not a fan of the flavor combination.

Bought this at VG’s market in Brighton Michigan. Nice copper color when pouring, although not much head. Aroma of malts and a faint caramel, but hardly any hops. Malty and caramel flavor, still no hops. Being at 5.2%, it seems pretty light both on palate and taste.
At 99 cents a bottle, a few of these could easily go well with an outdoor, late afternoon summer BBQ. Beerathon (1680) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 10, 2012
Aroma pretty faint. Surprising hop notes that nicely balances the sweet malts. This beer had a refreshing quality to it that I enjoyed. DMLINAZ (332) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - DEC 5, 2012
Pretty thin, watery; not much flavor. Slightly malty, more like a lager than a decent amber. Hardly any hoppiness. Aroma is malty, bready. Not terrible but not one I’d seek out. BrownALEx (459) - Portland, Michigan, USA - DEC 5, 2012
Pours a rusty color with a bubbly white two finger head. Very transparent. A bready nose covers up a faint caramel smell. Taste is mostly malty with a slight hint of hops. Almost no hop flavor. Palate is very thin and watery. Overall this is not a great beer but for a buck it might work in a pinch. freekyp (2466) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - DEC 5, 2012
A traditional American amber with a balanced profile that showcases mild caramel malts while letting the fruity ale yeast do its magic. Hops provide nice juicy notes with enough bitterness to balance. Pours a clear amber with a small one finger small bubbled white head. Clean and a good sessioner with greazy pizza.
